Soya Noodle & Sushi Bar — Restaurant in Melbourne

My partner and I stopped in here to eat. I ordered seafood curry laksa and my partner ordered Tonkatsu (pork) ramen.

My curry laksa was watery and flavourless, and the seafood was rubbery and tasted like dirt. The noodles were over cooked, the bok choy was overcooked and the broccoli florets were seriously undercooked. This dish was so bad I had to pick out all the veggies and seafood then only ate the noodles.

After 25mins of waiting, the staff brought out my partners dish: was some kind of seafood noodle soup, not even remotely resembling ramen at all.

We advised the staff that the food was incorrect and when they came to the table, it was clear that I had eaten none of my food and my partner hadn't even started his.

While they did apologize and offered to re-make my partner's meal, by this time we weren't willing to risk another long wait or a flavourless meal so we declined the offer.

Weren't even offered a refund.

Have been a loyal customer for many years. Previous management were lovely and food was great. Current management have no service skills and are very rude. Asked for a vegetarian curry (my usual order) - they pretended they did not know what I was saying and could only offer rice and potato with curry sauce for the same exact price as the Curry Katsu don. it's laughable. They are losing so many customers.

To top it all off my mum found 2 long hairs I embedded in her...

This place was great until the new management came in. Tonight, the sushi was empty and barely rolled, I asked for salmon and gave me smoked salmon. Yuck. Dim sim was so so oily and cold. Partner asked for a beef fried kway teow with no capsicum. It was pork and full of capsicum and practically no other vegetable. Beef in beef dishes was stringy and chewy, the chicken had hard bits in it and the overall food and service is very poor. After I years of soya, we will not...
