SpudBAR Ashburton — Restaurant in Melbourne

My family has been ordering regularly from SpudBar Ashburton for years now and we’ve always found the food to be great. Recently though, the food has had a number of issues - items, including those that cost extra, have not been included (once we only received a potato); every time we’ve ordered bacon it’s been so extremely burnt that it resembled bits of charcoal; bowls have included much smaller amounts of each item; items were just dumped in the bowl with no attempt to make them look presentable or edible. In addition, drinks and brownies have been either forgotten, or different from those ordered. Virtually every order has had an issue. I have usually had good experiences here. I have been ordering here for many years. But today I decided to try something new and get the sauce for $4 extra. Then I saw her reach for the cheese and I said hold on I don’t want cheese twice and she didn’t listen and put it on anyway. Then instead of making her start again, I said it was fine and then I was given barely any sauce and barely half a scoop of avocado and a few bits of chicken and was charged $19! I came here for good value but this was poor. I received no apology and felt a rude attitude from the manager and the lady who served me didn’t know what she was doing. My partner and I travel over 45 minutes every time to come to this once was an awesome store until now. I Just bought bolognesse, and due to allergies, I asked for no peas and carrots. They obviously cant understand English and kept saying this is a dollar extra for everything neglected what i said about peas and carrots, even for things that already came with it. Asked for butter, didn't get any. Both girls there tonight were too busy with their ear pods in ears to hear to bother about people's allergies or word's.
