We were forced to find accomodation near the airport thanks to a delayed then cancelled late evening flight. I wouldn’t call this a family-friendly place to stay overnight! Additionally there were only stairs up to our room, so it is definitely not disability-friendly either. The sheets and linen were clean but the bathroom was mouldy, with the shower attachment half falling off the wall. The floor was covered with dust and fibres and there was a brown splatter on the wall. After we arrived in our room, someone attempted to open our door. There was rustling sounds in the hallway outside and I opened the door sometime later to see a trail of meatballs (you can’t make this stuff up!) in the hallway outside. I’m assuming it was some inebriated person confused about room numbers, but would not be a nice experience if you were travelling by yourself. The meatballs were still there when we left in the morning. Additionally, someone who I’m assuming to be a bouncer, in that he was wearing a business shirt and helped some patrons out to their car and then returned to the building, joked about my wearing a mask and said “covid is over you know.” He has no idea whether someone has additional risk factors for illness. Even if he did, it is not his place to comment. Poor representation...

Extremely disappointed! Booked a couple of days prior to my arrival and specifically said on an email and over the phone I will be arriving early hours of the morning, which wasn’t a problem so I paid for half and the half on arrival. Arrived and the manager informed me that there is someone in the room and all rooms are booke out. I was so angry and tired as it was a long drive from Sydney with a newborn and a 3 year old and my elderly mother and all they could do was tell me to wait until the next manager comes in at 6am which was 4am at that time... I asked if they could send me to another venue that is own by ALH because they screwed up and he said no sorry we can not help you!!! I said “so if I wait till 6am the next manager still can’t help me as the rooms are already full” response from the manager “look I’m not sure but he maybe able to help you”

I ended up leaving the hotel with a refund and NO HELP.

Place is disgusting, looks nothing like the images on the website, they need to clean inside and outside and also organise better communication so therefore this does not occur in future.

So thank god I didn’t stay there as it was dirty from the outside and inside and god knows what it’s like...

The food and staff were especially wonderful. The food came quickly and the staff were incredibly accommodating. The female servers were especially helpful to me and my wife. We are both elderly Korean grandparents and my dyslexic wife found it incredibly helpful when the female server read the entire menu for us!

I'll never forget the time when I was at the venue to buy a birthday dinner for my mother only to realize her birthday was the day before and I was never going to hear the end of it for forgetting my mother on her birthday! Laeticia ran eastwards so fast that the Earth spun the opposite direction, turning back time and allowing me to buy the birthday dinner and get it to my Mom with plenty of time to spare! Laeticia even upsold me some cupcakes. I went in at 5:30pm and left by 11:30am the previous day! Great service!

This reminds me of the other visit, I had a flat in front of St Albans hotel, Laeticia took her tire of her car & put it on mine and said she’ll just walk home after work ❤️ Waitress on the month for the...

Little things in stays leave me thinking.carbon footprints... aircon filters not clean, blqck mould..dangerous and very present in this room... unsterilized glassware, non energy efficiabt appliances, appliances not safery tagged and tested, with these unregulated fire alarms an appliance fire may end your stay quickly... non fire retadeNt paint to top it off.... and no nightcap here my sirs... gaming room fullof drug dealers networking in full sght, obviously a war managment lost as theure not stopping it. All round... less than disapointing but not more disapointing thn theure chosej art work colour...

I had an excellent 2 course seniors meal for $12.99 I had an excellent rump, chips, salad and pepper gravy ($9.99) and a pavlova ($3) Meals were very good and importantly the rump was tender. I did order a house wine sauv blanc for $5.50 and the wine was spoiled. It had a real vinigery taste. I did not complain to the staff. The wine was stored in large casks with taps and Im guessing 'due to the extended lock down this got spoiled.'The colour was a lot darker than a sauv blanc should be.
