My Terrible Experience at Subway (Watergardens Outlet)
I’ve always loved Subway—fresh ingredients, quick service, and usually friendly staff. But my last two visits to the Watergardens outlet were so bad that I’m never going back.
The first time, I walked in expecting the usual warm welcome, but instead, the girl at the counter (I think her name was Sachi) didn’t even bother to say hello. I placed my order, but she wasn’t paying attention. When I politely corrected her, she gave me this annoyed look and handed me my sub like I was bothering her. No thank you, no smile—nothing. I was surprised but thought maybe she was just having a bad day.
Then, next day , my wife went to the same outlet, and guess what? The exact same thing happened to her! Rude behavior, no basic courtesy—just pure indifference. That’s when I realized it wasn’t just a one-off thing. This outlet has a serious customer service problem.
I’ve been a loyal Subway customer for years, but this experience left such a bad taste that I’ve decided to stop visiting this location altogether. It’s a shame because I really like Subway, but if the staff can’t even manage basic manners, why should I bother?
To the management: Please train your staff better. A simple hello and thank you can make a huge difference. Right now, your Watergardens team is driving customers away.
To everyone else: If you want a pleasant Subway experience, I’d suggest picking a different outlet. This one just...
Read moreI've been to this subway a few times and every time I've been the staff are rude. I've seen them ignore customers because they're too busy on their phones and when they do talk to you they can barely speak English. it makes the whole process very difficult and frustrating. There is only 1 worker there that I've spoken to who can actually communicate properly in english and knows what she's doing the rest shouldn't be working with the public at least not in Australia. I have to tell them multiple times what to put on my subs because they can't understand basic English and half the time don't know what ingredients are meant to be on the subs they're selling. Owners/management need to take a good look at their staff and do an overhaul and get good workers in there and this would be a much better place to visit. I won't be coming back to this store I'd rather drive 10-15mins out of my way to go to the other stores than deal with the treatment I get at this store. Worst food service I've ever received and do not recommend to anyone...
Read moreWent to this store last night to get a teriyaki sub and it was delicious, nice and fresh and the customer service was fantastic. I was really impressed by the 2 girls working there who were dealing with a really rude customer before me who seemed like they were trying to scam free food or something and when it didn't go her way she started abusing staff in a threatening manner. The young girl that was serving her was very professional and tried to resolve the situation however this Indian lady seemed to only want to be rude and treat the staff with disrespect. If I was in the young girls position I would've kicked the customer out in a not so politely manner. even after all that she still had a smile on her face and was very polite and welcoming even though it would've been very easy to be angry and frustrated after a customer like that. I will definitely be coming back to this store again. 5 stars all around and a lot better than most...
