This is easily one of the worst places we have dined in in Melbourne and that’s really saying something. So we visited there tonight, walked in with our toddler, as soon as we entered they asked if we were two people (even though I was holding my child) and I said no three. After waiting for a good 10 minutes, there was a queue built up behind us, we finally were told to go upstairs, and once again were asked if there were two of us. There were about 5 empty tables with reserved signs and we were seated on one of the middle ones, all others from behind us was given a sofa seat, not a problem I called the server and asked her if we could swap to one of the corner booths (as our toddler had easy access to running around the space in the middle table), and she rudely replied, ‘have you got a booking?’ I obviously didn’t, neither did all those behind us who got the booths or corner tables, they clearly walked in just like us, and trust me when I say this, this place is not one anyone would think of booking in advance, it looks like a take away joint with a tiny dining area upstairs. After spending over $55 on what was essentially 2 meals and 2 sides, we finally got out food, the tonkotsu ramen was bland with no flavour and very little soup, and my partners omelette chicken curry rice wasn’t far off either. To make matters worse, halfway through the ramen, I got hair in my mouth, it was super disgusting and we decided to leave the rest of our meals and leave the place. I would not recommend going to this place. 0 for service, 1 for price and...

Ordered Teishoku Set and Signature Tonkotsu Ramen.

1st. They put my order on the robot with different table number.. My food was roaming around and saw it come back and forth 3x. Finally they realized it was going to the wrong table. 2nd. I saw the miso soup and rice from Teishoku set that was picked up from the robot by the people on the wrong table.. The lady grabbed it from their table and went back to counter.. Only to return to me holding the same miso soup and rice that's been on other people's table. 3rd. Pricy despite their average (if not below) tasting dishes. Limited menu. You're not gonna get your moneys' worth. 4th. The ramen soup had no flavor, almost bland with just some saltiness in it. In fairness the egg on top was nice but the meat was horrible tasting. Felt like eating long frozen meat thats in fridge for long time. 5th. Nasu Tofu is good in moderate amounts as the sauce is quite flavorful. 6th. Tonkatsu (Fried), bland and dry and hard. 7th. Miso soup is ♡ good. the saving grace. 8th. They're stingy with side sauce (like Maccas with their tomato sauce), very small amount that comes with your main order (if it includes sauce) and if you want more guess what.. pay for it ^^

Well thats it for my experience today. Left very unsatisfied and disappointed. Definitely will not come back xD

I regret not going to the small but really yummy japanese restaurant near police station at...

While all the other restaurants nearby had massive queues waiting for a table, we decided to give Superhiro a try as there was no lines and the restaurant had a few spare tables. I discovered quickly why there was no tables.

Very slow service, after being seated we were left alone for some time and had to wait for menus. And then after having the waitress walk past several times was finally able to order. The first meal came after a considerable wait and was more than half way finished eating before the second dish (sashimi from the front which we had noticed ready to be taken to the table for some time) was brought to our table and only after I asked.

One of the great things about being seated near the open kitchen is that you can see your last meal sitting on the bench ready for the wait staff while they walk past it so many times. It was only that I asked her when the last meals were arriving, as the first two.meals had been eaten, that she decided to bring them to us ( one of which had a hair in it which we sent back, came back with no apologies).

Wish we had the same 5star experience that other reviewers had but on this occasion we have decided we won't give them a second chance.

The icing on the cake was when we received our table water after our meals were completed. The staff were busy with the delivery orders so I suggest you order via Uber Eats for delivery to your table for a...

This was such a fun experience! We thought this was just a tiny sushi store but then discovered there was a whole upstairs area where robots served you your food. I thought the whole experience was very good and I plan to return. Pros: For the number of people that were there (on a busy day) there there was fast service ROBOTS! Serve you your food. Very cool. If you get a booth you'll be in for a treat, they are very comfy Sushi and sashimi were yummy, as well as the beef bowl with 63 degree egg. Well priced - not the cheapest, but still good value for money a lot of different options Presentation was beautiful Music and decor were quite nice Cons: A couple of communication issues with staff Sparkling wine had been shaken up so went all over the table when we opened it, but it was replaced with no fuss Some of the prices on the menu hadn't been updated resulting in items being a couple dollars more expensive than expecting Call button on table didn't work (but that wasn't much of an issue as we could just wave someone over) Short wait outside (about 5-10 mins) but this is to be expected at places with an element of novelty about them

Though there was a small waiting to get in, it was well worth it. The ordering via a QR code on the table was ok but had to do some hunting through to find a couple of items that we wanted to order that were on the menu posted out front. We sat upstairs which was quite comfortable with the amount of tables in the area. Staff were very friendly and helpful plus most of our drinks and food were delivered by a robot waiter which was sometimes confusing if not all the meals were for your table and you didn't read the screen as we found out when the robot turned up with nothing but another patron realised their mistake and delivered our meal they had accidentally removed. The food was delicious with ample portions so nothing went to waste. Alcohol is available as well as non alcoholic beverages. Prices were quite reasonable as well. If sitting down for a meal isn't your thing, then there is a takeaway section at the front for a wide selection of sushi and other food to grab on the go. All in all a great experience all round and I can't recommend it more highly.
