They say the definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over again and expect a different outcome. Different with food we have favourites? Having had a complex life, a million unanswered questions a love for what they say hurts me and an utter uncomfortably amoungst so much of myself, for the world I live in I just don't understand this sorta hell, I just keep going. I had dinner here tonight, starving and confident after observing what I believed as challenges fall onto my sword, in this time of my life I cannot say if I have ever done the right thing, or the wrong. What I can say is this: Having dined at Cantonese Restaurants atleast weekly, my entire life I have seen in more detail Chinese Chefs prepare a relatable to me modified culture for people day in and out, often an entire lifetime crafting these skills to this. More than any other cuisine.. it's what I knew? I'm walking a path at the moment where I get all the power, the responsibility and the negitive things I challenge and I ask for. I ate at this restaurant, had my usual dose of paranoia and tricks and I'm trying to keep this short.... the best thing is, that was the best meal I have ever had. Attention to detail in what you do is crucial. You get that here at this place in the food. I could not more proud than to say I love in a way Australian Chinese food either, for these reasons, you learn hard work is normal. (and when I get to the other side of what I am doing may I marvel at these cultures I am yet to experience) The reason people come to Australia, I don't know if anyone here want it that way or not is because it has the very best risks and rewards to those who cease an opportunity. It is a place, where often the things we perceive as nasty are the best things for us in not just emotions, health, thinking even .. I could not be more greatful than to have had this experience. In this life though, I have carried the negitive for such a long time, there's such a pride in myself for the fact that anythings possible. Because no matter what, my heart is so much stronger for what is the best, consistent example of Australian Cantinese food I have seen . Go here,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been a customer of Suzi Wong for over 30 years. I even worked there at one stage. I am really disappointed how much it's changed. Containers aren't full but the prices are higher. Bright orange restaurant with white tile flooring, brown chairs and paper table cloths, looks more like a laundromat. Kitchen staff are great because MOST of the food does taste amazing BUT we've had many experiences where dishes have very little flavour. The staff usually working the front desk and phones lack professionalism. They dress poorly and make the laundroestaurant look worse. It's an Asian restaurant, should look Asian. The staff should have a dress code or uniform of some kind. Just looks like something in a...
