Worst customer service ever. I normally don’t wanna waste time on something negatively. But she was treating us like shxt. Abused and humiliating underage. She refused to tell me her name but at the end she said it’s “my”, I’m sure she is not telling me the true name. 160cm height, Asian girl, acne all over her face, Long black hair with yellow Bonny tale, grey sweater. We came here by three people, quite busy inside, so we lined up. There was a guy before us, he was ordering takeaway. So I asked my daughter to wait at the table which two men just left. We are still lining up while my daughter sat at the table. Then this named “my” waitress came and tried to clean up the table that two men left. Then she asked my daughter to stand up and go and wait in the line because you need to order first. My daughter told her that she was with us and pointed to her that we are ordering, at this time, we both are still lining up. But she kept asked my daughter to go to the line. I understand that the place has “order before your sit” but we ARE LINING UP. And the guy before us was taking away, no one else before us. Why we can’t take the seat??? Working without taking your brains??? Then I came over and tell her that we are three people, we are together. Then she said but she (my daughter) still need to line up. Excuse me?? What the hxll is going on? She was so obsessed to ask my daughter to line up. I came here many times and I really loved the Chinese auntie, I believe she was the owner of the shop or owner changed? I’m writing this not complaining about the product of the shop but to let the owner to be aware that your waitress needs a really good customer service training. Firstly, treat your customer respectfully, politely. Secondly, listen to the customer what they are saying, if you don’t understand, then ask another colleague to come and talk to the customer. I just found many 1 star reviews recently, they are all regards about the customer service. I DO think the owner should take...
Read moreDear the owner,
I am the big fan of your cakes for 4 years already and I have been supporting you a lot actually. I gave you a good review too but today i needed to delete my 5 stars review as attached screenshot because of the service today.
Today I came with my own drink just because I wanted to try it with your cake as usual. But the staff who took my order she was a bit offensive strict with me on this. To be honest your cakes are the best in Melbourne for me but not for the drink. And it’s not okay if you have a strict policy about outside drink, I just want to drink the best drink with the best cake and that’s all. We are living in liberal country, we can have our own choice what to drink with what,, should be us to decide. And Melbourne this city we are just chill and flexible. Today I quickly finished my cake in about 5 mins because I got stressed from your staff today.
I’m happy to delete this review if you could change that policy and the staff need to be improved about service skill as well. When she told customers not to do something, she could have shown some positive vibe not like today unfriendly no smile on her face and offensive made me was scared of her.👎 I never seen her before. On Christmas I bought a lot of your cakes and the girl who took my orders she still remembers me every time coz she knows I’m the regular customer and she always has the smile on her face. BUT NOT THIS LADY AT THE CASHIER AT 13:10pm❌
The service today made everything terrible. I’m not okay.it supposed to be my happy day today. But turned out to be a...
Read moreThis happened a while ago, but I was busy and forgot to write a review at the time. I’ve only been there three times, and each time I interacted with a Chinese lady who I assume is the owner. I don’t speak Chinese, but I know a few words, so I tried to be friendly by greeting her with phrases like “Hi, how are you?”
The last time I went, she spread both hands and showed the number 10. I initially thought she was complimenting me, as if saying my Chinese was 10/10. I knew it wasn’t, but I assumed she was just being nice. Since she doesn’t speak fluent English, she used gestures a lot to communicate.
I didn’t understand what she really meant until my friend explained it later. She told me the lady was actually calling me fat and asking if I weighed 100kg. I was absolutely shocked—what on earth?! My friend majored in Chinese and studied in China years ago, so she understood what the lady meant. However, at the time, my friend didn’t confront her because she didn’t want to ruin my mood, as I was very happy.
When my friend told me after we got home, I felt so embarrassed for being friendly to someone who insulted me like that. It was such a humiliating experience!
If she wants to run a business in Australia, she should learn how not to be rude. Have some...
