+39 Pizzeria brought by a group of Italian people from Naples longing to bring the original Italian Pizza and Pasta to Melbourne. This restaurant tucked in the little bourke street, Melbourne CBD. The restaurant is pretty spacious with the sleek and modern minimalist interior design without leaving the Italian culture.

The vibe and environment is great and cosy. The customer staffs were friendly, attentive and professional. Absolutely trusted restaurant as it's been reviewed by more than 2500 food lovers in Zomato and their rating is above 4.0.

Note: we'd suggest to place the bookings before you come as it's always busy all the time. If you're the pizza lover and would like to stretch your budget little it more, +39 Pizzeria is the "to go" and recommended place.

We ordered: Tartufata (Fior di latte, cream of mushrooms, mushrooms, rocket, truffle oil & parmesan) for $23.50. Crudaiola (bufallo mozzarella, prosciutto di parma on a bed of marinated roma tomatoes, rocket & parmesan) for $26.90.

At that night, we couldn't decide which one was the best pizza as both of them were absolutely fantastic and had uniqueness. They're perfectly cooked in traditional Italian wooden oven, this restaurant delivered the different level standard of pizza.

Though, it's slightly expensive compared to other pizza bars but it's worth of money for the quality, decent portion and authenticity of Italian taste. We reckoned this restaurant is the best pizza restaurants we've ever tried so far.

The Tartufata had the strong and great smell of truffle oil, loved it! It was perfectly seasoned and great option for non vegetarian.

On the other hand, if you're meet lover, Crudaiola is very recommended. Generous portion of prosciutto di parma and the taste was splendid. Little bit sour taste coming from marinated roma tomatoes blended in perfectly with the savoury taste of prosciutto.

Ahhh, one thing that you should know that you must say "Yes" when they offer you their homemade chilli oil with olive oil. We love having spicy food, personally the pizza came to beyond the perfection by adding their chili oil on top of the pizza.

Overall, we had a wonderful pizza and experiences in this place and added to our favourite pizza bars.

When I arrived at the restaurant, the staff member who served us was extremely unfriendly and rude. I told him that my reservation was at 6 PM, and his response was simply, “The table’s at the back.” That’s not how you treat customers — you’re supposed to show them to their table, not just point somewhere vaguely. Then he said, “Your friend is already here,” as if that excused his attitude. It doesn’t. He should at the very least guide me or bring me to my friend and to the table, not leave me guessing where to go. It was a very poor first impression and set the tone for the night.

Unfortunately, the rest of the service was just as disappointing. When we tried to order a few things, the staff didn’t say thank you or even smile. The whole interaction felt cold and unwelcoming. At one point, a staff member accidentally dropped something on my friend but didn’t apologize at all — she simply walked away. Later, when we politely asked her to help take a photo for us, she did so reluctantly, without any friendliness, and handed the phone back without a word.

I don’t understand why the staff need to be so efficient in cleaning the plates when it’s obvious that we still haven’t completely finish them, and it said we can have the table for 2 hours, moreover there’s no one queuing outside on a Friday night.

When we accidentally dropped and broke a glass — something we were genuinely sorry for — instead of showing understanding or professionalism, the staff gave us judgmental looks and immediately went to tell their colleagues. It made the entire situation uncomfortable and awkward.

Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing. While the food itself might have been decent, the rude and unprofessional service completely ruined what should have been an...

During the last 8 months I had lunch/dinner at least 1-2 days a week with my family and friends. Delicious food, friendly staff especially the manager Paolo and the waiter Giampaolo who have been always attentive and welcoming.

On Friday night I had dinner with my colleagues and at 11pm-ish they remained there whilst I had to go home. I asked the waitress if I could split the bill given that I did it in the past. She said ‘it is not possible’ and therefore I clarified that I wanted to talk to the manager (woman with blonde hair, I think her name is Giulia). I understand that this request is not convenient when you’re busy but I insisted because there were two tables only. We argued and after a while she decided to accommodate my prohibitive request. She was extremely arrogant and unfriendly.

Yesterday afternoon, I went there again with my family and friends as my wife is pregnant and had a craving for pizza. When I reached the counter to pay this time ‘the full amount’, the same manager laughed at me saying ‘Finally you learned how to pay the bill’ and quarrelled with me (once again) about the previous night. She also insinuated that I was rude with the waitress when I asked to talk to the her. What a shame seriously!

Notwithstanding she proudly proclaimed to the public at large her 10 years of experience as a manager, I strongly recommend her to read several times the meaning of ‘hospitality’, ‘courtesy’ and ‘professionalism’ which are utterly absent from her vocabulary.

Sadly, I will never return and it is a disgrace that the owner has to lose regular customers due to the rudeness and unprofessionalism of one of the managers. She must find another job because she doesn’t know anything whatsoever about...

Stepping into this pizzeria, I was immediately captivated by the aroma of freshly baked pies. The menu promised an array of delectable options, and I eagerly ordered a classic Margherita pizza and a hearty serving of lasagna. While the pizza lived up to its reputation of greatness, the lasagna's temperature left me with a slightly frosty impression. The Margherita pizza was a masterpiece. The thin crust was perfectly crispy, and the tomato sauce was a harmonious blend of sweet and tangy. The melted mozzarella cheese draped over the pie in an inviting manner, and the fresh basil leaves added a burst of aromatic flavor. Each bite was a symphony of taste, reaffirming the pizzeria's expertise in crafting a pizza that's a cut above the rest. However, the enthusiasm cooled when the lasagna arrived at the table. While the presentation was inviting, the dish itself was served at a noticeably low temperature. The layers of pasta, meat, and cheese, which should have melded together in a comforting embrace, seemed disjointed due to the chill. The flavors that should have danced on the palate were dulled by the coldness, leaving a somewhat lackluster impression. Despite the lasagna's chilly setback, the dining experience wasn't a total letdown. The attentive staff and cozy atmosphere added to the overall enjoyment, and the pizza's excellence managed to overshadow the lasagna's temperature issue. Still, it was a reminder of the importance of consistency in serving temperature to ensure that all elements of the meal are enjoyed as intended.
