I'm gluten intolerant - this bakery is great because they offer heaps of gluten free options. The gf bread is amazing - it actually feels and tastes like normal bread, unlike the really spongy gf bread that you buy in the supermarket. They also have large range of sweets, and even do some gf pies.

Only downside, but significant nonetheless, is price. Just buying a gluten-free loaf and a mince tart/caramel slice or something and that's already $10. And what's worse is that the size of the loaf has gotten quite a bit smaller over the past year - it's probably reduced by 30%, so it's honestly not that much bigger than a gf loaf in the supermarket. I love the bread, love its texture, but I struggle to justify spending $7.2 for a loaf of bread (when I can get it for $4 on sale, or $5-6 if it's not in the supermarket). I guess it's ok if you like having sandwiches, but because I tend to toast my bread, the texture of the bread doesn't really matter too much, especially if it's all crunchy in the end.

A real shame, it's this pricing that's made me go back to the supermarket... But I would still say give it a go, it's worth trying if you're gluten...

Disappointed – $15 for this. Yesterday, I came in to order some takeaway and spent $40 on two focaccias and some sweets. The staff seemed somewhat busy and a little flustered, and they forgot my order was being toasted. When they finally remembered, it was clear that one of the focaccias was burnt.

A younger staff member attempted to replace it, but the older lady managing the sandwich bar told her not to and instead instructed her to cut off the burnt side. This was done in plain sight of me, although they tried to conceal it. It wasn’t until I got home that I realised how bad it really was.

Making a mistake is one thing – I would have waited. However, trying to deceive a customer to save a few dollars thinking you'll get away with it is disgraceful. The younger staff member had the right instincts and should have followed them. The older staff member set an extremely poor example and with her life experience should...

We placed an order with Swiss Bakehouse for 20 staff members, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. Jamie and the team were extremely accommodating and genuinely friendly, making the entire process smooth and stress-free.

There is a huge range of pies, sausage rolls and other delights to choose from including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options; all of which were delightful.

In particular, the pies we ordered were an absolute hit! Individually packed for us; they looked incredible and were bursting with flavor. Everyone commented on how delicious they were. It's rare to find a caterer who nails both exceptional customer service and incredible food, but Swiss Bakehouse truly delivered on both fronts.

Highly recommend them for their hot food; sweet treats and awesome service; you won’t be...

Please avoid this shop for your specialty cakes, as their presentation was AWFUL!! As you can see from the before and after photos, it looks like it was prepared by a 1st year apprentice and even spelled Renault incorrectly when the correct spelling was supplied and it cost $325 for a sponge cake! The only reason we didn't give them a 1 star is Hamish working there when it was collect, spent over an hour trying to fix it, as best as he could and got the boss to give a $100 discount, which honestly we could have gone and purchased $50 worth of sponge cakes and had the same result. Please also note, due to poor communication with the shop, it was picked up on the same day as the event, so not much chance of finding a solution and it wasn't even used to celebrate the 70th, just cut up and served to all the guests.

The chicken and avocado focaccia is very tasty and good value. Bit disappointed with the staff. Despite having a friendly sign outside ‘no bad vibes etc’ the staff aren’t very friendly and are a bit impatient. I’ve been a couple of times during covid and they several of the staff don’t seem to think masks over their nose is important. Being a food and beverage business is expect hygiene to be of the highest standard. Honestly the food seems to be good but not sure about the attitude.
