Taco Bell Hoppers Crossing — Restaurant in Melbourne

I've never been to Taco Bell before and really wanted to try. I considered myself lucky that there is one located right next to the swimming pool and was excited about it.

So I went through the drive through and the first thing was that the person taking my order was very unresponsive, I had to repeat everything more than twice and sometimes she just wouldn't even listen and then ask me again or repeat my order to me asking if I was done, even though I just mentioned something to add. I asked for sauces, no mayonaise?! ok, chipotle then. (i'll come back to this) I asked for coffee, only ice coffee? Okay then. Only to find out this is one of those BREAK brand ice coffees, which should've been specified before letting me order it. When I paid I was quickly prompted that the order is ok and I can drive on, I felt rushed as I was getting myself ready to drive off, forgetting to check whether everything was there, only to figure out later that the sauce was left out for which I did get charged. THANKS HEY! I ordered the BLACK BEAN crunch supreme, which isn't really crunchy at all AND I got a BEEF one, which I figured out when I got back to the place I am working. Now, I don't eat meat and I also don't have time to go back and sort this out. So therefor only 1 star, I would give none if that were possible; bad service, rudeness and the food is below average and not even what I ordered. After what I saw in this store if I could give 0 I would. I was shocked when I went in and ordered food, buritos, while waiting for the food I watched as a small group of young men came into the store who one of the employees recognised and immediately came from behind the counter to shake hands with two of them wearing his food gloves and then after greeting them returned to behind the counter to continue to handle food with the same food gloves. You need to teach staff the meaning of the food gloves and what is appropriate and not appropriate and this was definately not appropriate. I ordered four buritos and not one of them had an idication on them as to what they were, pork, mince, chicken. I had to unwrap every one of them to find out what they were and this is also not acceptable. You can mark on the paper packaging what each burito is so that it can be identified. I do not want to unwrap my food to find out what it is. This is just bad management. Where is the meat another complaint about this store. Wow, very little meat and for what you pay you should get value for money and this is not value for money. Staff need to be educated in many things and learn how to take pride in their work. I’m a frequent customer at this store, always coming thru the drive thru after i finish my shift at work 2 nights a week. I order the exact same thing every time, a crunchy taco and a soft taco both with beef and no lettuce. So just beef and cheese in a taco. Last night 4/1/25 i went thru drive thru and ordered my normal, parked to check my order as i’ve had multiple occasions where they give me the wrong tacos. They got one taco right and the other wrong. it has lettuce and also tomato in it. I went back thru and told them and confirmed with the worker i just want beef and cheese. he told the cook line to remake it, opened my new taco and once again it was still wrong. didn’t have lettuce this time at least but still had tomato in it. I didn’t bother going back around to explain myself a second time. Unfortunately this isn’t the first time they mess up my tacos hence why i always check them before leaving. I believe they are mistaking it for the taco supreme which is a separate menu item.

Besides that, my hard taco which was correct was delicious and made nicely, the foods always tasty too just wish they had a little bit more education on a crunchy and soft taco compared to a taco...
