Called in for impromptu dinner with my son Friday night. First waitress was friendly although didn't ask my son if he would like a drink, we had to ask for that later. We ordered Nachos supreme for entree to share, this was very quickly brought to the table by a young blonde waitress with a pony tail. She plonked the nachos on the table and walked away without saying a word, as she left I requested that we get two plates as we had none, she continued walking away, thinking she hadn't heard me I had to go up to the reception area and saw the girl who brought the nachos to our table and asked her for two plates please as we had none. A couple of minutes later she came to our table and literally banged two small plates on our table, no 'sorry guys' just banged two plates still stacked together on the table and gave us a filthy look, and was muttering under her breath. Honestly Taco Bill you need to vet your staff better, this girl knows absolutely nothing about customer service, had the worst attitude I have ever come across in any restaurant. This girls attitude was appalling, she actually doesn't deserve a job. Had there been somewhere working there that looked senior I would have complained there and then. This is actually the first time I have left any review for any restaurant! I have worked in the hospitality industry for over 15 years. The food itself was mediocre, the Nachos had hardly any toppings, certainly not enough for the meal. We both ordered beef enchiladas which had basically no flavour and were extremely salty. We were never asked if we would like another drink nor asked if we wanted dessert. We will...
Read moreI've never had much of an issue eating on the premises (it helps a lot if you realise that you're eating at the McDonalds of mexican food and don't go in thinking it's fine dining), but the takeaway experience is quite awful by comparison and is the focus of my review here.
In short, it's disgraceful.
Processed congealed slop that looks like it came out of a can and went straight into a microwave, almost certainly smaller portions than are served on premises and to add insult to injury they actually have the cheek to charge the same as the sit-down prices.
I see there are some people here (for whom drama was clearly their favourite school subject) claiming to have been made ill after eating here. Dubious as these claims of instant illness may be, you may find it interesting to watch the kitchen activity through the back door to the carpark, where some pretty dodgy-looking characters slap together the orders with an alarming approach to food hygiene.
Hurry though, because you can bet that the immediate management response after reading this will be "Keep that door shut!" rather than raising standards, because that requires a whole lot more effort.
(Later follow up, since I can't respond directly to the owner reply). This was not a single "occasion", it has consistently been every takeaway experience. There's no point me emailing you about it because complimentary offers of the same poor product are not terribly appealing. Like most people I'll just place takeaway orders elsewhere until I'm led to believe things have significantly changed. And I mean Significantly, not the usual 10%...
Read moreMy wife and I recently went to this restaurant on sat 26th July. And we were very disappointed the meals took so long to come out to our table once our entree had been served it was close to 30mins after we had finished it before anyone came to to clear our plates and still waited longer for our main to come. The restaurant was not busy at all and table next to us had a waitress back forth non stop yet we were basically ignored. The food was incredibly dry and bland we got nachos for entree and the waitress recommended to get the beef on them as it was "delicious" this couldn't have been further from the truth the beef was extremely dry and overcooked and had no flavour at all and basically ruined the nachos. I thought this could've been a bad batch and gave it the benefit of the doubt but then our mains eventually arrived I had the chicken neuvo Mexican dish which I have had at other taco bills and loved. But sadly once again the meat was extremely dry and zero flavour I could not even finish it. My wife had the chicken quesadilla and she could only manage a few mouthfulls before she felt unwell and unable to finish her dish as her chicken was also very dry. Overall it was an extremely disappointing experience and it's safe to say we won't be return ever again.
P.s after leaving the restaurant my wife actually ended up being sick in carpark... horrible...
