Terrible experience! When I first starting going to the boardwalk the food was amazing, the waiter offered us drinks and would come back and notice if our drinks were low, tonight however it was all off and we will not be returning! The grilled meat platter was terrible it looked ok but the meat was tough the chicken was dry and the ribs were fatty and had very little actual meat, the pizza was wet!!! How can a pizza be wet? Seriously it was wet! The seafood platter had 1 prawn! Two small bits of calamari a tiny fish filet and a tiny salmon piece that’s not a seafood platter! And it was very average! The grilled octopus was fishy and that’s not grilled octopus it was a few slivers of octopus on an unknown yellow thing with unknown sauce to try make it look fancy! It’s Caroline springs ffs! I was so happy to have a classy place in Caroline springs but it seems they have gone the cheap produce way to maximise profit! $240 for 3 meals. Sorry but you are in the west this is not how we roll here. Oh and they gave me the wrong meal first so I had to send it back which I probably should have kept cause anything would have been better than that poor seafood entrè, that’s what I’d call it, certainly not a platter! Not once did anyone ask if we wanted another drink or anything for that matter. It wasn’t even worthy of a photo. Not to mention half way through music came on from nowhere so loud and scared half the restaurant. I’m so annoyed and upset and my mates were making fun of the restaurant on the way home which upset me further. The photo of calamari attached is the wrong meal they gave me unfortunately I was so annoyed at the SF platter I didn’t snap a shot but use...

I’d like to share my recent experience regarding a booking I made for an early lunch at The Boardwalk Pizzeria. I booked online for 11:30 AM Sunday lunch for a party of four, and at no point during the booking process was it mentioned that the restaurant only opens at 12 PM. In fact, available time slots started from 10 AM onward, which was misleading. When I arrived at 11:30, I found the restaurant closed. To make matters more confusing, the staff initially couldn’t locate my booking. Upon further checking, they found it had somehow been routed to their adjacent breakfast venue called Cantina. Nowhere during the booking process was this second venue mentioned, nor is it reflected in my confirmation email or reminder notifications, all of which clearly referenced The Boardwalk Pizzeria. When I raised this, the gentleman assisting us was unfortunately quite dismissive and insisted I had made a mistake, despite me showing the booking confirmation for The Boardwalk Pizzeria. When I expressed how upsetting the situation was, his tone changed, saying he was “only trying to help.” But by then, the experience had already soured. I believe this situation could be easily avoided with better clarity on the booking site regarding opening hours and venue distinctions. Also, a more respectful and solution-oriented response from the staff would go a long way in improving...

Hands down THE best dining experience in the area, if not the west. Sort of food and service you expect in the high profile CBD or Southbank restaurants.

Service= friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Nothing was a bother. Really welcoming atmosphere throughout all the floor staff, particularly our young waitress who was 1st class.

Food= outstanding. Every dish we saw going out looks delicious and had me asking why I didn't order that. Not just pizza but the pasta dishes look delicious and generous portions. Meat dishes looked really good too. Next time. Speaking of pizza, tasty Neapolitan style with quality toppings. Wonderful Italian desserts too to finish off your meal.

Atmosphere= decent size dining room with plenty of tables out on the deck too. Was a hot Saturday night so we went with the coolness of indoors. Pretty buzzy atmosphere, open kitchen so you can see the chefs working away preparing your meals. Worth booking I'd say though there are plenty of tables if you walk in.

Overall loved the place. Was really impressed with their neighbour Kin Bar last time here. Two great additions that raise the bar of Caroline Springs dining. Compliments to management and ALL THE STAFF. Grazie.

Can't wait...

Boardwalk Pizzeria is truly a local gem, capturing the spirit of authentic Italian dining in every detail. The food is absolutely delicious with all of us praising the fresh, high-quality ingredients and traditional recipes, wood-fired pizzas that taste like they’ve come straight from Italy. The atmosphere is welcoming and vibrant, with a beautiful lakeside setting that elevates every meal and provides the perfect backdrop. What really sets Boardwalk Pizzeria apart is the service. The staff including Italian waiters and waitresses are consistently warm, attentive, and bring an authentic Italian hospitality that makes you feel right at home. Their genuine passion for great food and service creates a memorable dining experience every time. Whether you visit for a cosy dinner or a special celebration, you’ll be treated to outstanding service and a wonderful ambience. From the first bite to the final farewell, Boardwalk Pizzeria stands out as an authentic slice of Italy and a must-visit for anyone seeking fantastic food and an unbeatable atmosphere in the neighborhood.

We absolutely love coming here. It’s perfect for families and kids, with a friendly atmosphere and amazing staff who always go above and beyond. They even have a setup where kids can draw and stay entertained while waiting for the food to arrive which is such a thoughtful touch. The pizzas is hands down our favorite – my daughter can’t get enough of it. We’ve celebrated several birthdays and anniversaries here, and it’s become our go-to spot for special family occasions. And the desserts? To die for! The tiramisu and Nutella pizza are out of this world – the perfect mix of sweet and salty, and that wood-fired flavor is a real winner. Highly recommend !!

Since this restaurant opened we have been weekly customers. Recently the takeaway pizzas are shrinking…. And it’s been consistent too. Today we put in our order and they increased the price and continue to shrink the size of the pizza. I’ve also noticed that the base is now so thin it can’t even hold up and was like eating floppy wood fire pizza. Half the pizza had decent crust and the other half was rolled out so much it was almost like it didn’t have any just topping. We also order their pasta, and that container is decreasing in size too. Really disappointed and sadly we won’t be making this our weekly treat.
