I was terribly disappointed with my recent experience with Burger Lounge. What happened was I made a phone order for pickup and expected to pay the same price as the last time I went there. Then I got to the shop, I looked at the price board and the price was still the same, Steak Supreme $14.50 but they said the price has gone up and explained that it has gone up 3 days ago and didn't get a chance to change the price board, so it is $15.50 now! I said "No, I only want to pay for the advertised price". Instead of apologizing and charging $1.00 less for this time, then charging more for the next time when the price board is fixed up (from a business point of view, keeping a customer happy is very important), they kept arguing with me saying "I'm just asking you to pay $1.00 extra" and then I said "I didn't know the price has gone up and I'm just asking you to take $1.00 off, is this how you treat your customers?". Then different staff came out to say the same thing back and forth. I was shocked and got very upset so eventually I just walked out of the store. I shall never return I have been their loyal customer for many years. Although I noticed the quality of the food has been diminishing rapidly but I didn't mind so much and still kept going back. To have this happened would be the last straw on a camel's back. I was expecting them to treat their customers differently. I used to recommend this burger shop for my friends and family. I will now have to tell them all to not go...

I have been here 100s of times and even recommended the place to people as having the best burgers, but always wondered why the place was so empty. Now I understand why. Essentially I paid for a 375mL drink and meal and got my drink. I then sat down before being YELLED AT by a member of staff that I had gotten the wrong drink and that she did not charge me for that one and I needed to come back to the counter IMMEDIATELY and pay the difference. A glass Bundaberg is 375mL and a can of soft drink is also 375mL... my sincere apologies for assuming they were the same. To be called "greedy" is not only an unacceptable insult to say to someone let alone your customer but also totally unprofessional. I can honestly say I have never EVER been treated with such disrespect in my life: her tone was threatening and made me feel so upset over a very honest mistake. I work in customer service and you never ever treat a customer or use a tone of voice the way they did to me. Like I said I come here all the time and will never be back...
