Terrible customer service - I Will never come back here again. I ordered three meals - two main breakfast meals (omelettes), and a kids meal for my 17 month old daughter eggs on toast. Our order all together with coffees and drinks was approx $60. When our meals came out to my surprise the omelettes were the same size as the kids meal I had ordered. Usually I wouldn't say something but seeing each main meal cost well over $20 and we usually eat at the Doncaster coffee club I felt obligated to say something. I spoke to the closest waitress and said I just wanted to leave some feedback as I thought this was unacceptable to which she answered I simply was the dishes here. She said she could direct me to the manager and was quick to dismiss my feedback. I then approached the manager who made our food and was disgusted not only with his answer but how he dealt with the situation. He stated that this is coffee club standards to which I said if you look at the size of all our meals, they are exactly the same size as a kids meal. How is this okay? He dismissed me and didn’t even attempt to rectify the situation or offer an alternative. He said this is what it is and the size they serve the omelettes. I was shocked. As someone who works in customer service, this attitude is not acceptable. He didn’t even attempt to offer a solution or look at what I was saying. After reading the other reviews on Google no wonder people are not happy. I usually go to the Doncaster coffee club and never has an adult meal been the same size as the kids meal we order my daughter. Never coming here again and will be telling everyone I know the same information. Learn how to treat your customers and learn how to attempt to rectify dissatisfied people who...
Read moreMy experience on September 3rd at The Coffee Club Northland VIC was absolutely disgraceful. What should have been a simple visit turned into one of the most humiliating and infuriating encounters I’ve ever had in a café. A staff member spoke to me with shocking hostility — loudly and aggressively, for no reason whatsoever — in front of other customers. It was a blatant display of arrogance and a complete lack of professionalism. The behaviour was appalling and deeply disrespectful, leaving me stunned that any business would allow such conduct from an employee. I contacted The Coffee Club head office in Brisbane immediately afterward, providing both my phone number and email. Despite following up a second time, I received no response. The silence from management says everything — zero accountability and zero care for customers. After this experience, I will never return to this location or spend another cent at this chain. The treatment I received was beyond unacceptable, and the lack of response from head office only adds...
Read moreThought going to the coffee club would be a nice Sunday morning breakfast. First serving of eggs Benny had a sleoxe of melted cheese on it - not asked for and odd to the added given it wasn't listed on the menu. When asked why the staff simply took the plate and walked off. Then came back with it dumped onto a new plate and a different bread. I then asked for the bread I ordered and with annoyance the plate was taken again without comment, apology or explanation and I was left standing by the counter. So I returned to my table. The plate was then returned, with the right order, but just placed with a there you go and nothing else. Staff member did not offer apology or anything. Won't be coming back for sure. Mistakes get made, I have no issue with that, but with no offer of help, or explanation or a small apology I don't think the service is worth rewarding with...
