The Coffee Club Café - Werribee Kiosk — Restaurant in Melbourne

I recently visited Coffee Club in Werribee Shopping Centre and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience with both the service and food. While ordering, the North Indian lady at the counter was blunt, rude in tone, and came across as bossy, even towards the staff, which was uncomfortable to witness while we were having breakfast.

I ordered the avocado toast, priced at $19 each, but the dish did not meet expectations. The bread was extremely thin, the avocado was spread in the thinnest layer, and the overall quantity was insufficient. The bread itself was stale, the avocado lacked freshness and flavor, and the presentation felt rushed. For the price, I expected far better quality and portion size.

The ambiance of the cafe was nice, and the other staff members were friendly, but the food and service left much to be desired. I hope the cafe takes this feedback constructively and works on improving both the quality of their dishes and the behavior of their staff, as the place does...

This is the Coffee Club infront of Kmart: I ordered Eggs my way and asked for tomoto relish and the girl who brought it said next time just ask for it at at the counter when ordering ( suggesting a payment for it) and I said I didn’t have to do that in watergardens Coffee Club where its crazy busy but staff are super professional and happy to cater to customers requests; and not charged for it. The only courteous one was the girl with head scarf. Also I normally cannot finish the Eggs my way in Watergardens Coffee Club (very filling and fluffy and dense with add on ingredients), this one was smaller and lacked in presentation. Another put off is that you have to get your table number before you sit. Not sure if this system works for those eating alone and had no one sitting at the table of your choice while you order. Great staff and service. One of the very few places where the staff still act human, they're not robotic. They make you feel welcomed. The Nepali guy was very helpful with the menu. He had the right knowledge to help me pick my drink. Their service is exceptional. The Red Velvet with Chai was sensational. I never usually go to any coffee place to just relax and have a cup of coffee and cake, but recently their Red Velvet caught my attention. I'm glad I tried it. The environment is very relaxing.
