**MUST READ BEFORE DINING*** Upon arrival, no red carpet was laid out for our majestic feet to trample on. No Gurkha Royal Courtesan Cigars were offered which resulted in a negative reaction. Ordered 3 meals and got 3 taste testers. Disappointing that we didn’t get any complimentary cakes on the house considering we didn’t charge them our appearance fee. Lack of compliments from staff members towards our manliness. Kids running around and birds stealing food. Lack of privacy-too many girls wanted autographs and photos. No leg rests were provided and had no entertainment was present- we needed to entertain ourselves. Taste tests were mediocre but beverages were spot on, too much ice though. The tables were uneven which affected my balance making for an unsafe environment. OH and S safety guidelines were not upheld as the water jugs did not have any lids (see photo) which resulted in dust in the water. We had a unique experience due to one of our members having a birthday which staff was notified of, we were expecting a birthday party with a dj all paid for, but were extremely disappointed when all he received was a ‘thank you’ from the waitress. Once again, the food was absurdly priced and we were really unsure if the portions were intended for humans or mice. The only upside of this experience was that we saw a blonde lenger waiting for a takeaway. In conclusion, our unbiased fact on this cafe is 0/10, never go again.

Let me tell you…. Breakfast it’s my favourite meal of the day, I would eat eggs, gluten free bread, bacon and tomato relish all day long…: we started badly from reading the menu, it’s quite difficult to understand when you read “lightly gluten” seriously you either cater gluten free bread or not, if one owns a cafe at a large shopping centre the least you can do it’s provide gluten free alternatives for coeliacs. Honestly this was the most boring, tasteless breakfast I’ve ever had, miniature toasted slices of bread, my poached eggs were almost hard, bacon was too crispy and the tomato relish was the worst if you cannot make a decent relish it becomes a tomato sauce. I also ordered black tea, since there was no sugar available on the table I asked one of the waitress’s not knowing she the sugar police, she gave me one little sachet of sugar and when I requested more she returned with one more, as I have a big pot of tea I had to get up and bring sugar by myself. Honestly for the price and the poor service I would never eat here again.

Thought I would give coffee club another chance. And this time I thought Scrambled Eggs - quick and easy. Well they were quick but they were horrible. I am not sure where the “cooks” for coffee club are being trained now that Pentridge has closed, but these wouldn’t make the grade in any prison. I know that not everyone can be a Gordon Ramsay, but these were not scrambled eggs - just dry , crumbly and had the bejesus cooked out of them. Please get the “cooks” to YouTube what scrambled eggs should be. There are a lot of more complex things for them to stuff up on the menu - don’t let simple items be one. Oh…and the guy in casual clothes wandering around giving tables a lacklustre hit with a dirty rag and no spray didn’t inspire confidence!!!

I want to share my shocking experience at this coffee club. Tonight we went to coffee club for a coffee as we normally do when we visit Westfield Doncaster. I ordered 3/4 full flat white and my wife ordered a tea. The FW the served was really disgraceful with no crema or any little froth as a FW should have it. Anyway I sent it back 3 times and each time they delivered something worse than before and it was like their barista does that on purpose finally their barista who was a lady, showed up with the refund for tea? and coffee and when I said I didn't want refund and just wanted a decent Flat White with fresh shot, surprisingly she was like " I understand that you were trying to get a job here but because we are closing soon we can't use fresh espresso for your coffee and our owner has told us to do so." And when I said I didn't want to rub it in and I just wanted a decent flat white she was like " but you do" What??!! I could not imagine a hospitality worker can be this rude and unprofessional. Are you trying to say because I was not employed there I try to pay it back?? Does it have any relevance? By the way do you have any idea why I didn't get the job there which you judge me? Second, from that date I have been to this coffee club many times with no problem even last week. About using the old and stale espresso shots you use, I don't think the owner of coffee club has told you such a thing if so I really have not any comment. Guys I just wanted a decent coffee in the coffee club which you boast about its name but not only could not your barista deliver that but also insulted and judged me in a really terrible way. Such a...

I have been to this cafe for multiple times before and it has always been great. Today however was totally different experience. Not always we get out of the house with a small child and to be able to spend time and enjoy hot coffee and food cooked by someone else. We decided to dine in - ordered 2 coffees and meals. First of all we got coffees brought to table in take away cups which we didn’t ask for - got that sorted, we stared waiting for our meals. Half an hour passed thinking where are our meals? Especially with a toddler half an hour can sometimes be very tricky when eating out. Our meals were delivered totally cold. Burger buns were rock hard and burnt, bacon and egg completely cold, however chips delivered hot. None of this just did not make any sense. We took the food back as the buns were not eatable - my friend said to me that I’m afraid I would have to go to dentist straight from here if I bit into this. No joke, it was just a joke. I get everything, but none of the staff actually had a decency to even check up on us, apologise - no one literally cared. I’ve worked in this industry for years when younger, never ever had I thought this was acceptable and definitely isn’t now. Very very disappointed and...
