The Iced Bakery & Co — Restaurant in Melbourne

I went to the Bakery on Fathers day and ordered 2 items. A Chicken and Salad roll and my sister a Califlower roll. Both times that we asked for the food we had to repeatedly point out which item it was that we were after. It was obvious that the staff member was new. I probably would have bought more things if the service wasn't so painful.

After the staff member asked his superviser multiple times for assistance to clarify items, we were taken over to the till. The staff member then knocked the Califlower roll off the bench onto the floor beside him. He then exclaimed "I cannot believe this is happening!" He then picked it up off the floor and a different supervisor then asked him if the roll had come out of the paper bag. He said no it hadn't and then gave us the roll that had been on the floor!

With the covid screens the eftpos machine was then held back so far that I almost couldn't reach it. I was then passed the food by hand, not placed infront of me meaning I had to touch the employers hands completely rendering the covid screens as useless.

I was most annoyed about the fact the food had been dropped on the ground and then not simply thrown In the bin and replaced. The paper bag was open at one end, not folded over. Who knows if the food itself touched the ground or not.

The chicken salad roll I received was cold and I was not given an option to have it heated up. It was pretty plain.

Both my sister's really hyped this store up.

Visited the ice bakery and Co today with my family for an after school treat. We all loved it, took ages to picked which cake we all wanted. There was soo many yummy things to pick from. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lady that served us was so lovely to my kids.

We ordered a number of different sweets to share and a coffee. Coffer was lovely and the cakes and slices were delicious.

The cafe/bakery had a few tables to eat in or take away. The decor was lovely and bright. I loved the neon sign.

Will definitely be visiting again soon. Highly recommend if your after some nice little cakes for...

Really disappointed, usually a great pie. I drive from Boxhill to buy these pies. I brought 3 mates with me to get some pies & cakes. Told my mates how great they are. We get there order the pies & the whole four pies just warm !! Not hot !! Just warm. My 3 mates said to me, what are ya raving about these pies there just Ok .
