Wow, just WOW! This pub meal was nothing short of a culinary masterpiece! From the moment I stepped through the doors, I knew I was in for something special, but nothing could have prepared me for the explosion of taste that awaited me. Every bite was a symphony of perfectly balanced flavors—crisp, juicy, and utterly irresistible.

The presentation was so impeccable, I almost didn’t want to ruin it with my fork… but thank goodness I did! The steak was cooked to absolute perfection—seared on the outside, succulent on the inside, and practically melting in my mouth with every heavenly bite. And the sides? Don’t even get me started. The chips were golden, crunchy, and seasoned to perfection, while the salad was fresh, vibrant, and oh-so-refreshing.

But let me tell you, the crown jewel was the sauce—rich, creamy, and bursting with depth, it tied everything together like a dream. It felt like every ingredient was hand-picked by the culinary gods themselves.

Heard great reviews about this place from an elderly friend, so called in for lunch. Very overpriced for what was very average meals. $80 for two for lunch is ridiculous! Its a very plain outdated style of pub. Not inviting one bit and bar staff lovely, but meals waitress..........rude as....... I eat out 3 times per week, so am very accustomed to what pub lunches have on offer. Steer clear of the place and go elsewhere, as you get extremely average food, at ridiculously expensive prices. And don’t complain the 2 drinks you ordered tasted very bad. You’ll get a reply of “oh well” with a back turned to you and a walk off. That in itself was enough to show you what respect they have for their customers. $80 worth of food and they couldnt even offer money back for drinks they could clearly see were of an inferior quality. How much did those 2 drinks cost YOU, OLINDA CREEK HOTEL? A couple of cents max? To not offer a refund was disgraceful. A greedy bunch, with what we could only describe as people that don’t give a damn about their customers and making them feel like you actually care slightly, instead of the pathetic attitude we got. Went for dinner the other week. In the past it has never really been great but generally OK for a pub meal. Things have certainly gone down hill! Service was terrible. Waited an hour for the meal to arrive and even then the steak came out with no gravy. Seriously understaffed with waitresses rushing around like blue arse flies. Servings were small (I asked if they had delivered the kids meals) and quality was not terrible but just ordinary. Similarly, the wait at the bar was long with only two people serving on a Saturday night, one was clearly a trainee and had no idea, having to ask the other staff member who was busy making coffees most of the time rather than getting to the queue of people. (I know lots of pubs are doing this now but turning your bar staff into coffee baristas detracts seriously from bar service capability and costs you money. I didn't order another drink due to the wait and that's less money over the bar for them.) The VB tap ran out and the trainee could not do anything about it while the bar manager stayed at the coffee machine. Won't...
