Absolutely Terrible food!! I don’t usually write reviews. When I do, I’m more likely to take the time to write a positive one, but we were so incredibly disappointed. After half a day of shopping we went looking for a nice cafe to eat something yummy at. First I was served a room temperature banana smoothie. So I requested some ice. No big deal. Then my chicken and mushroom risotto (from the specials board) came out swimming in oil, without mushrooms and the only flavour to be found was some kind of herb. I have posted a photo of the oil because I was in disbelief. The whole outside of the risotto, plus lots of parts within it, were floating in oil, as you can see in the photo. My friend then kindly offered to share her burger. But it literally tasted like the whole salt shaker had fallen into the burger patty mix. I honestly cannot express just how salty it was. We tried to eat but legitimately couldn’t. We then politely, respectfully and kindly passed on our feedback to one of the young wait staff. We waited some time to see if anyone in a managerial position came to discuss, but got nothing from them. We did not expect any kind of compensation, just perhaps an acknowledgment that we hadn’t been too impressed. A thanks for the feedback, we’ll take it on board and check those burgers in case there was a mistake. Just something!! It was the lack of acknowledgement that brings me to writing this review. It was honestly and sadly, the worst (all round) eating experience I’ve ever had. The wait staff were nice though. I forgot to mention that it was also over priced. The risotto was a ridiculously small serve but I paid almost $40 for risotto and a smoothie. It was so small that my friend thought I must have asked for a kids meal. Sorry guys, but we were so awfully disappointed.

Real score 4.2. The Sisters is a lovely cafe that is currently underrated on Google. The cafe is sited in a beautiful garden setting with olive trees, herbs, veggies and various fruits growing in areas around the tables and chairs. It’s beautiful here on a mild sunny day like today. We liked the menu which had a number of enticing items. It was a close run thing with the soups and salads but in the end we both chose the the avocado smash with egg. It’s hard to get excited about such a standard brunch dish but the one they do here is wonderful. Its simplicity and overall flavour was striking. For starters, it’s a generous size. The avo they use is also top quality and best of all the feta they use is utterly delicious. The egg was done beautifully too and they use good quality sourdough. A couple of squeezes of the lemon wedge across the lot and the overall flavour of the dish is just terrific. A real surprise, but it’s the best avo smash I’ve had for several years, I reckon. Just a beauty. We mused for a while about how the dish could possibly be improved. It took a while but all we came up with was that a tiny bit more greenery might be useful. The coffee here was pretty good too particularly my partner’s strong skinny flat white. She can get a bit snaky if the brew isn’t as strong as she likes. Hers was done superbly here making her very happy. 😃 Service was pleasant here making for a really good overall visit here. 😍😍 We liked the cafe immensely and will definitely return soon.

So, we came for Sunday breakfast and gosh what a dissapointment ! Firstly, we have had to wait for 25mins to get our meals. Vegetable feast and chilli scramble eggs. Secondly, there is no table service for the prices they charge convenience should be a priority for patrons. Thirdly, the menu is so basic that we could make it at home. No variety whatsoever. Fourthly, there is a board displaying all the specials but half of them are not available until lunch. Note that we got to the restaurant at 11:40am. I was wanting to order the chilli mussels and was told I would have to wait for another 20mins. Such a shame considering the atmosphere and venue as such look nice. Veggies were unseasoned. Surcharges are outrageous. Not to mention the extremely undercooked egg. Rating: 1/10

When I visit a cafe, I usually Google it first to see the star rating. I didn't this time, and really should have!

Everything started off ok at this cafe. But it just went down hill. The staff were friendly enough, but I wish they had explained the menu better. MOST places offer chips with a burger. My fiance had a burger arrive... and it was the only thing on the plate. $22. And it was ok at best. My fish and chips were bland and I wasn't rushing to finish them at all. If they had been cheaper I still would have been disappointed. The service was also ridiculously slow. It took about 40 minutes to get our food. On a Monday. I usually don't check the receipt for when I ordered food because you don't notice how much time has passed. But we did because time was dragging on. On top of that, the change table in the disabled toilet is SO SO SO dangerous. I went to the toilet and checked for a disabled toilet at the same time with a baby change (as I always do having a 9 month old). The screws all looked like they were about to fall out! I could rock it back and forth about 20-30cm it was that unstable. We needed to change our baby but took her to the automated public toilets near the cinema instead. I urge this cafe to replace or fix this change table NOW. Before some tired parent (and yes, most parents are tired and could sadly miss such a dodgy looking change table) puts their baby on this change table and there is an injury. It should be checked regularly or better yet just get a...
