A lovely Thai restaurant tucked away in a small alley, and it was a delightful find. It was my first time there, and I was surprised to see just how popular the place was — completely packed the whole evening. As soon as one table cleared, another group quickly filled the seats. It seems like reserving a table in advance would be a smart move if you want to avoid a wait in the future. Of course, the reason behind the crowd is obvious: the food is absolutely delicious.
We started with Moo Yang, the Thai grilled pork, and it was cooked to perfection. The pork was tender, with just the right amount of char on the outside, giving it that smoky flavor that hits all the right notes. It comes with two sauces, sweet and sour sauce, and the other is a bit spicy, adding a tangy, slightly spicy kick that perfectly balances the richness of the meat. We also tried Gai Yang, the grilled Thai chicken. The chicken was juicy and well-marinated, bursting with flavors of lemongrass and other aromatic herbs. Each bite had a wonderful combination of smoky, savory, and slightly sweet flavors that made it really stand out. The grilled chicken is skin on, which lockimg in all the juiciess of the meat underneath and makes it even more enjoyable.
For the main course, we ordered Pad See Ew, the stir-fried Thai noodles. The flat rice noodles were perfectly cooked, not too soft, with just the right amount of bite. They were stir-fried with a rich, savory soy sauce that coated every strand, along with fresh vegetables that added a very nice crunch. The dish was hearty and comforting, the kind of meal that makes you want to keep going back for more. The food here really lived up to the restaurant’s popularity, and now I understand why it’s always so busy!
Service was truly exceptional. they are nice and attentive. What impressed us the most was how they remembered our allergy when we ordered additional dishes later in the evening. It’s rare to find such attention to detail in a busy restaurant, and it really made us feel valued as customers. We left not only satisfied with our meal but also feeling...

Unassuming from the outside, but you step inside to a bustling atmosphere is quite open, able to seat a large number of patrons inside. The menu is huge, it has almost every Thai dish and their variations that you can think of. 🇹🇭
I disagree with the Google reviews that say the food is 1. Tiny and 2. Bland !? It was the opposite of both of those things. Everything we tried was full of flavour and a big enough portion for two people. We even took leftovers home!
The pork skewers dipped in the Nam Jim was a match made in heaven - the savoury pork combined with the sour, salty, sweet sauce was delicious. The sticky rice also came in a cute little basket. The Chicken Pad Thai was hearty, nutty, fresh, I couldn’t fault it. This wasn’t spicy at all (not sure if traditionally Pad Thai is spicy?) so it was right up my alley and what I ate most of.
The Pad Gra Pow is VERY spicy, so I recommend treading lightly here. We didn’t realise how spicy it was, but it was so tasty nonetheless. The pork was also cooked really well, very tender and great bite sizes. Coconut rice really good at easing the heat that was burning our insides. The roti was warm and fluffy on arrival, the peanut sauce to accompany it is always a good choice. It doesn’t look like much but the chicken in pandan leaf was great - very tender, juicy, flavourful. I’m not sure if I’d order it again though, I could do without it.
Service can be a little abrupt, some staff were friendlier than others but it didn’t bother us too much. They had a full house on a Saturday night so reservations are essential to avoid disappointment. Highly recommend if you’re looking for some traditional, hearty Thai food that...
Read moreA very very noisy and uncomfortable environment. Unfortunately restaurant managers don't understand that a high volume music will attract noisy and rude customers' behaviour. I wanted to have a nice lunch time in a Thai restaurant and to enjoy that Thai feeling but I regretted going there. The music volume was very high so people added more noise on top of that with their nearly screaming talking. There were also two tables with families and their kids were crying and "screaming" all the time! On top of this disco club level like noise, the open area kitchen added even more noise to the stressful environment. The Thai waitresses have NO working experience nor they know very basic Thai serving culture, all they do is serving the dished whose task can be done by anyone even a 5 year old kid. They served me a bland fried chicken with scarce and very poor dressing without adding any traditional Thai side with it. Usually in Thai restaurant they give you peanuts and other stuff but there were none. The spices are stored "hidden" down on a shelf instead of being freely available for everyone on top of a bench or a table. I had to specifically ask for dressing so that means that they are instructed that way to save money. They gave me a very poor one which had nothing to do with the Thai culture. I have much better fried chicken in any Indian, Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese restaurant because they taste something while the one I had in this Thai restaurant had no taste at all. And this restaurant is not cheap at all but if they offered me that Thai feeling and culture, it was ok but I won't go...
