We always drove pass this pub on Victoria Street after we went IKEA and never try it before. We found there's a deal on Groupon , therefore let's buy and try ! We made a booking tonight for both of us and our kid. The environment is very nice, doesn't look like the typical pub (u know what I mean) , quite elegant and tidy. We sit down and found out they put our name on the reservation note, that's little warm trick better than lots of restaurant! Then we ordered the two starters and the two mains and the two drinks as what the Groupon offered and also an extra kid meal The starters are nice, popcorn chicken are freshly made , one of the best ! perfect with the beer ! the corn rib , also not bad ! The kid meal come first , its' half size parma with chips and surprisingly come with nice salad !!!!! This is one of the best kids meal i told the owner !!! because you know most of the kid meal never provide any veggie and my kid loves veggie
And then our main comes - the Grilled porterhouse and chicken !!! SO YUM !! Worth to come here !
Lastly the owner so nice and gave us the desert !! you need to try !!
Highly recommend you need to try this...
Read moreThere is so much to like about this funky place that has outdoor seating, indoor seating and a nice beer garden. Happy hour Monday to Friday 4-8 with $7 pints and $14 jugs - goat beer. $7 basic spirits $5 house wine. $10 aperol spritz Monday $10 burgers and Tuesday $25 steaks. Wednesday $15 parmas. Bottomless brunch Sunday’s. Kids welcome as there is a nice area out the back. Really liked the artwork sprinkled throughout the place. Clever and very interesting. Remember this is a bar / restaurant so it can be noisy. The nights I’ve visited there have always been lots of people coming after work socialising. Bar staff are lovely. Very friendly and really know how to mix a good drink. Food isn’t too bad either. Overall a great Melbourne social and dining experience. Wheelchair and disability friendly. Parking - well it’s Victoria Street - do your best as it can be...
Read moreCame here to watch Super Bowl LIV where they did a deal - $30 includes a pint of pale ale and either a burger or parma. Wasn’t that crowded to be honest but I actually preferred it that way and wanted to enjoy the football game without the rowdy noise. Loved the decor of the place and found a perfect corner with chesterfield club chairs for a comfy watch.
Coffee was excellent but I was shocked how good my chicken Parma was; it could be the best Parma I’ve had in Melbourne. Perfect portion size, the topping had perfect balance, chicken was moist and juicy, the side chips again was well balanced and the salad was basic but well seasoned. Would happily come back just for the Parma. The staff were very hospitable and friendly, shout-out to the hard working ladies.
Overall a great experience and will be back for the Parma! Found my place to watch the...
