If you're near the Royal Children's Hospital, this is a good spot to chill out and grab a bite. The menu offers standard cafe fare with a few international touches.

The Birds Nest was a wholesome combination of soba noodles, poached egg, edamame, brocollini, baby spinach, shredded carrots, radish and fried enoki mushrooms with sesame seeds liberally sprinkled on top. Blended with a scrumptiously creamy sesame dressing, the dish was fragrant and appetizing on arrival. Though i usually find soba noodles too bland, that dressing absolutely completed the dish. The acai smoothie was made with water instead of milk and was so refreshing on a hot day like this.

With a bright, airy feel to this modern space, the cafe has two communal tables that make it group friendly. Helpful staff provide polite service, though I wouldn't say the kitchen is speedy. Quite a few people were on their laptops and I like that staff didn't rush...

We arrived at around 11 for brunch. You can get there by public transport easily. You just need to get on the tram 58 and get off stop 15. There you are!

The atmosphere was cool, and I liked the design, coziness, and sound music. We started with coffee, late with hazelnut sirop, and I liked it.

Then, we ordered smashed avocado with benedict and a smoked beef sandwich. Both came in good portion and attractive design, but not very special taste.

The first one was acceptable and could be somehow more delicious if the avocado had been marinated with lime and salt. The latter was sweet and chili, while it wasn't mentioned in the menu, so we didn't enjoy it.

The staff was nice and friendly. All together, it could be a 5-star review if the food were more delicious. I may come again but not soon, and with the hope of seeing progress in...

This place looked so promising and with high reviews we were excited to try it out. Food did not match the photos. Had a matcha latte that tasted only of the milk, no matcha in sight. Quinoa salad had no quinoa in it, just baby spinach leaves with canned peppers etc. smoked salmon salad the same just spinach leaves with a few slices of smoked salmon. Definitely not a high quality cafe worth the rating. I mean I guess it’s fine for locals grabbing a takeaway coffee or sandwich but to have such a high rating is crazy. The staff was trying to be friendly and were lovely, but the server had limited English so she couldn’t explain what was...

Excellent service! We booked a table for 12 people last weekend and needed to add another two extra seats at very last minutes. The staff responded in a lightning speed and the service on the day was great! One little incident happened, that was one of our orders got missing and the staff was able to resolve the missing order quickly and made everyone happy. We emptied all the dishes and the coffee was just delicious ^_^ We love this cafe in another side of North Melbourne, away from the busy Errol street, it certainly brings an unique flavour into the community.

I recently visited Thyme and was blown away! The food was absolutely delicious, with flavors that felt crafted and fresh. I have to say, the coffee is hands-down the best I’ve had in a long time smooth and perfectly brewed. The service was friendly and attentive, adding to the experience. Plus, the atmosphere was so relaxing; it’s the kind of place where you can unwind and enjoy the moment. Highly recommend Thyme for anyone looking for great food, fantastic coffee, and a chill vibe
