Shuji Sushi — Restaurant in Melbourne

What a disgusting place. Approached the counter to ask for a small slice of cucumber (one they use for their sushi roll) as my child had an allergy test at RCH and the doctor recommended approaching the stalls downstairs. The staff at this sushi place initially refused to serve me and then demanded $3 for it. When asked if the thin slice can be made fresh from a clean knife, they dismissed and basically said it is $3 for one slice take it or leave it. I will never patronise this stall ever. I finally got it from another cafe who provided me with a freshly cut slice, and when I offered to pay for it, they refused it because they are decent...

Very disappointed. Sushi were dry no taste at all, they must have been prepared at least 2 days prior. Raw tuna looked purple very concerning given it s within an hospital. Chicken curry was tasteless too I didn t see anyone cooking so that would have been cooked a while ago and left in a warmer. And the waiter was super rude I was shocked. Plus the prices are expensive absolutely not worth it. In an usual restaurant I would have asked to talk to a manager. I was there with my family for dinner.Ordered couple Bentos and Sushi set. Food like curry, rice and washawi was not fresh that was looking very much dry no test.Chicken curry's hasn't got any taste too. I asked for another Washawi to the boy who was in counter, I was thinking he will say sorry and will provide fresh Washawi.
