What can I say but spectacular! The brunch board really can feed a family, hungry friends for brunch or a celebration for one. The board consists of some popular items that will please everyone. Everything is tasty but not overpowering with spice. It’s pleasing to the palate with crunch, smoothness and creaminess. The omelet is soft and has a slight sweetness from the sautéed leeks. The hot cakes and wonderful and fluffy, the tomatoes are fresh, flavourful and are enhanced by the olive tapenade. Avocado toast is creamy and hits the spot. For something smooth and refreshing the chia pudding does the trick. The coffee is decent and the staff are always lovely and helpful. Always a treat to come past and can’t wait to come back again.

Once again forgot to pre order the breakfast board which was disappointing but the smashed avocado dish was available today so went for that. Yummy though unfortunately one of the pieces of toast was quite burnt. We were in a group of 12 so it was convenient that we could order and pay individually at the counter Original review We popped into Tickled Pink impromptu on Anzac Day and I was super keen to try the breakfast board for two that I had seen on Instagram but was advised it had to be ordered the day before which is frankly a little strange given it is only compromised of existing menu items and no special ingredients need to be procured but anywho I then attempted to order the smashed avocado and was told they had run out of avocado (how does a cafe run out of avocado!) My third attempt was the heirloom tomato dish but alas as that had whipped avocado on it I would have to compromise on that dish also (at this point I’m wondering why does someone not pop down to IGA and buy some avo particularly as they are lumping me with a public holiday surcharge and half the menu isn’t available) but I ordered the berry hotcake and I was pretty happy with the taste and presentation. In terms of the chai it was quite authentic so spicier than I expected given typically most cafes serve them pretty sweet so something to be conscious of. Would definitely go back to try more of the menu (assuming it’s available!)

We have to say we were really disappointed by our experience at Tickled Pink on Sunday. The customer service was fine but the quality of food and price point lacked. As you can see in my photos the poached eggs were not poached, the toast with the avacado was burnt and the side of halloumi was pretty stingy. The meatball sub was OK, but for the price I think I would have been more satisfied at Subway. I know that being opening weekend things don't always go to plan, but everything felt rushed and we were disappointed that some of the menu items weren't available. I think if they had of waited another week and got everything perfect for opening that it would have been so much better for everyone. The only reason that there are two stars is that the coffee was quite nice. I won't be returning.

ORDERED: 🥐 Chilli eggs on croissant: In-house chilli oil, feta cheese, fried shallots, sriracha aioli, pickled chillies, smoked paprika ($20.50) REVIEW: Loved how fully the croissants were. It's a classic brunch combination that can do no wrong. You've got the soft creaminess from the scrambled eggs, buttery flavour from the croissant and a smattering of shallots which adds a salty crunchy texture. There's layers on layers of texture and basic flavours on this dish which makes it so fun to eat. Service was friendly, and pretty efficient. Toilet was pretty small, but it's a small cafe with deceptively high ceilings, making it seem larger than it actually is. Cute place for brunch!

I’d love to rate 4 stars if I could, but honestly it was pretty chaotic on the open day last Saturday, and the whole customer experience could have been better. I appreciate the free coffee(apparently everyone signed up early for that!), although the food was lacking a bit of flavours. The falafel salad was thoughtfully plated, yet so dry and crumbly. I would love revisit this cafe after a while and see I can bump it up to a higher rating.
