Just want to leave a friendly feedback in term of service to restaurant team. We like their smiling, fast working staff & their uniforms. But they can improve it better. 1- BEER 333 in menu says $6.00/ per bottle. We did not know the computer price is $7.80/ each until we paid. Please do NOT do it. Staff who took our order...He who should tell us in advance of this 30% increase. 2. If we order only 2-3 dishes, we can remember the dish name. When we are big group ordering many plates & you served entree dish AFTER the other main ones, please tell us dishes' names each delivery. 3. Staff brought us only two short glasses when we ordered 1 bottle of beer 333 & 1 bottle of in-house tap water. We had to ask for another two glasses. Most people will NOT use THE SAME glass for beer then for water in such serviced venue. Last, he who pays using credit card should expect 2% extra surcharge on major cards ( VA, MA...) as its policy. All in all, we like the chef, the venue, the hard working people you recruited & we support.

Pleasantly surprised by this gem of a find. Went here with no expectations but was delighted that the food was very good. It’s a bright clean spacious Vietnamese restaurant serving an authentic fare. Staff were friendly and attentive. Has lots of parking just out front. The food was interesting as there were some dishes I’d never even tried in Vietnam before let alone find here. So excitedly we ordered quite a few. Every dish came out on point. Fresh and hot. Flavours well balanced and really just delicious. One of my now favourite dishes is the stir-fried wild boar that was recommended by staff as one of their specialties. The free range chicken salad was also done very well here - a refreshingly clean dish. The deep fried quails were fresh and super moist - a first for me as usually they’re dry and sad. The Vietnamese coffee was super strong - just how I like it however the avocado smoothie is way too icy and not creamy enough. Overall this joint has won me over and I’ll definitely be returning!

The restaurant is located on the corner of shopping district. Bright clean spacious fine dining area. All set of 10 seats round tables which was perfect for our occasion. Booked last minute on Friday. 10/10 all dishes were delicious using super fresh and natural ingredients that I didn't get thirsty because of the seasoning. Chicken and squid were really tender, mad Crab noodles were tasty 🦀🍜 Barramundi was fresh from the tank. Vietnamese salad had some spiciness, so fresh and crunchy. 2 busy staff were serving dishes for whole dining. Food came promptly and Vietnamese friends call out for additional drinks and changing new plates were helpful😊 Price of $65 each person for this quality these days (mid 2024) is not so easy to offer on the table on the spot for fussy local gourmets but Treviet did so well done👏👏👏👏👏 🙇‍♂️🙇‍♀️Thank you chef and thank you front staff for taking care of my table. We all had a really good time for my special day!

Avoid Tre Viet Restaurant – Terrible Service and Unprofessionalism.

Extremely Unprofessional – Ruined our Dinner

Our experience at Tre Viet Restaurant was incredibly disappointing and frustrating. We had made a reservation in advance for my mum’s birthday — a special occasion for our family. When we arrived on Saturday evening, the restaurant looked closed. The front door was shut, and there was no signage. A man eventually came to the door, gave us a confused look, and asked why we were there. We explained we had a reservation, and only then were we let in.

From that moment, things felt off.

We were led to a table in the corner, and it was immediately obvious that a large private function had taken over most of the restaurant. A waitress approached us and told us we would need to vacate our table by 7 PM, as the function would require it back. She also urged us to pre-order our food, or we wouldn’t have enough time to finish our meal.

We were shocked — especially because we were still waiting for our mum to arrive and couldn’t place an order yet. The waitress came back again shortly after to reinforce the time pressure.

When we asked why our reservation had been accepted if the restaurant was already booked out for a function, we received no proper explanation. Even worse, no one from the restaurant had contacted us beforehand to let us know there was an issue. If they knew about the conflict earlier, why didn’t they call to cancel or reschedule our booking? The waitress simply replied, “I don’t know,” and walked away.

The whole situation was awkward and uncomfortable. Staff kept glancing over at our table, and the guests at the private event also stared, making us feel completely out of place. It was clear we weren’t welcome, despite having a valid booking.

In the end, we left the restaurant and chose to celebrate elsewhere. What was meant to be a joyful evening for our mum turned into a stressful and disappointing experience.

This level of disorganisation and lack of basic courtesy is unacceptable. Tre Viet showed zero professionalism, failed to communicate with their customers, and clearly prioritised their private event over our confirmed reservation.

We won’t be returning — and wouldn’t recommend...

When we entered, we saw a spacious place with only about 2 other people. When we went to sit down, they gave us the only table with no tablecloth or napkins, the waiters were standing around and watching our every move. The waiters were dead silent except for the one taking our order. We ordered the Wonton, which was surprisingly expensive, so we thought that it would have a nice quantity, but it turned out to only be 5 of them, and they were insignificant. We also ordered some Phô and we saw that all they were doing was talking to each other, and there was some weird stench in the air. There was no soup spoons and when we asked for it, they told us to use a regular spoon instead, even when they had soup spoons everywhere that they could give us. They did not pay attention to us at all. When someone dropped some sweet corn soup on themselves and asked for another one. They said that the chef left. The chef can't leave until all the customers have left, but this restaurant believes that he can, and when we were supposed to get a discount, they forgot to put it in the order, so they stopped the discount. The waiters didn't know much English at all and it is a terrible and incredibly expensive restaurant. We're never coming again, and would not recommend coming...

Never coming back here again. First time here, they lost our booking and blamed us for booking the wrong day. How could we forget the day for Mothers Day? They managed to squeeze us in without even apologising. We ordered the ginger and shallot lobster because the kids couldn’t eat spicy. They made the spicy XO sauce for our lobster. We complained and they blamed us again for ordering the wrong sauce. The waiters here need customer service training and listening skills.

Second time here they took an hour to serve our food. Other tables that came after us received their food before we did and it was the same food that we ordered. Each time we asked the waiter they said the kitchen was busy. We ordered the banquet for 8 people which costed $750. Definitely not worth the cost for what was provided. After three dishes, we waited another half hour for the next dish. We decided to cancel the rest of the order but was told we couldn’t. The waiter then came back and said all the dishes would come out at the same time in ten minutes. If they could do it that quickly, what was the hold up?

I’ve given this place two chances and that was already too many. Very frustrated and...
