Trims Restaurant — Restaurant in Melbourne

Today I have had a disappointing experience at Trims Cafe. I am a support worker who took my client there for lunch after her NDIS appointment which is just a couple of doors away from Trims. I asked the worker at the cafe if I can please eat my lunch from my lunch box while my client eats the food she orders. I explained I have a colon disease and I can't eat certain food and I have prepared all my own food. The lady said she needs to ask her boss. Then she came up to me and advised that I in fact can not eat my own prepared food and I can order something on the Menu and if I need a special food they can change it up for me. I was so shocked and surprised that they have this attitude as every cafe I have been too with my clients have been more than happy for me to eat my own food. As a support worker paid a minimum wage, I can not afford to eat out every shift I have with clients and yes, I was hungry and needed to take my medication so I wanted to have something to eat. This cafe, being so close to the NDIS office needs to review their policy and appreciate that support workers want to take their clients out to enjoy a lunch but unfortunately not all can afford to eat lunch out every time we take the clients. I will not be bring ANY of my clients...

This Cafe in Frankston is not worth your time or money. when I went with my support worker we were greeted by 2 nice ladies who took our order of two coffees and we paid and waited for our drinks. behind the ladies was a man making coffees and when he got our order he turned around and said I need vaccination proof in order to sit down in Cafe, I didn't have mine on me so we were asked to leave. when we left we went to the outside sitting area to say goodbye to some people that we know as we are saying goodbye the man making coffees comes out and says we can't be here either so we left. My problem is as I spent over 20 years in customer service is the ladies who originally took our order should of asked the question of vaccine proof instead of putting us through the process that everything is fine so the manager will later deny our ability to enjoy our coffe sitting down. So logically the manager should of said to his staff to check vaccine proof before orders are made, this is a very easy thing to follow and ask but instead there is no communication with staff which has a very frustrating outcome. Also the manager was rude in his conversation to us. I will never go back again and suggest no one else...

I recently dined in at Trims Restaurant, and it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish! The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, ensuring that every detail of our visit was perfect.

The highlight, of course, was the food. Every dish was a masterpiece, bursting with flavour and beautifully presented. For the main course, I had the Trims Burger, which was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. My dining companions were equally impressed with their choices.

To top it off, the dessert was irresistible. The Caramel Slice was the perfect end to a fantastic meal - rich, decadent, and utterly satisfying.

Overall, Trims Restaurant exceeded all my expectations. The quality of the food, the exceptional service, and the lovely atmosphere all contributed to a truly memorable dining experience. I can't wait to return and highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for an outstanding meal...
