Tuttifrutti Artisan Gelato — Restaurant in Melbourne

I was recently gifted an iso-home-delivered large takeaway 4 flavour esky by a considerate friend, and was completely astounded at the quality and flavour. This is what I sent back to my friend in response: "Those ice creams and sorbets were INSANE. The Maraschino Cherry in that lovely tart yoghurt was outstanding - a perfect marriage of flavour made in heaven. The Smoked Salted Caramel was magnificently subtle, just teasing you with nuance with no overpowering flavour, and light on the sugar that most caramels get so wrong. The smoke is inspired, as it is present as an unnamed wonderful part of the whole It is perhaps unexpected, because as soon as you mention it to the consumer (I've now shared it with 2 people), that dawn of realisation THAT is the flavour they can't name but immediately recognise once revealed. Similarly, the liquorice was all about subtlety and sublime enjoyment, and the mango passionfruit a personification of bright summer fruit fun. OUTSTANDING! I cannot gush enough about what an island of happiness that little esky contained....

My favourite gelato, worth coming from Ireland for. They have so many flavours on offer with new ones getting cycled in daily. Allergens are clearly marked on a large board you can view from the door. I am shocked at how very few flavours contain eggs (gimornous news for the egg allergy community 🎉), as this has not been my experience elsewhere. In other gelaterias I can only choose from the sorbets 😢 not that there's anything wrong with sorbets but all the cool flavours are always hors de question.

Some of the best gelato in Melbourne! I've been going here for years every time I go down to Mornington and it's still just as good as the first time! They have a wide range of delicious flavours, all of them are so tasty that it's hard to settle for just one (personally, I never do). My favourites are tiramisu, mint, peanut butter, ferrero and vanilla! Not to mention, their gelato is an absolute bargain - you can get up to four scoops for less than $9 (better pricing than almost every gelateria in Melbourne) and the servings are very generous. The customer service is fantastic as the service is quick and super friendly which is the cherry on top of an already outstanding gelateria.
