Valley Fair Continental Bakery — Restaurant in Melbourne

DO NOT take their pies. Took one today and almost immediately had stomach cramps for the rest of the day. These must be past their expiry date. On another day I observed them cut open a blackened avocado to serve another customer. Seriously, it would be better to throw out expired goods and lose a few dollars than having your customer suffer food poisoning. The young person at the counter needs to learn etiquette. I requested split payment. Rather than politely explaining they did not provide this she talked down to me repeating "Do you understand?" with a face that tells me she really doesn't want to be there and couldn't care less about her customers. Previously, I ordered Banh Mi. They offered me a Banh Mi that was rejected by another customer as they had included chilli that the customer specified they did not want. I refused to take that cold Banh Mi unless they could discount the item which they refused. The prices are not shown anywhere. It's little wonder why given pho is ovepriced at $17. I always get my Christmas croissants through here because they are great and they’ve never stuffed up my order which I place well ahead of time. I went again to Valley Fair Continental Bakery again today, like I did last week,, and again the week before, and I will continue to do so as long as I can get my bowl of beautiful Pho Beef Noodle Soup, this soup is just the best Beef PHO soup ever, as good as the TOP Springvale restaurants, and better than fountain gate restaurants...
