My partner and I often come here, mainly for the fish and chips and find that the food is never overly oily and there's never a big waiting time which is great!
One of the main selling factors for this place is that they have a reasonably wide range of gluten-free options and the staff are knowledgeable when it comes to the ingredients of their products, incase you have any allergies. (There's a seperate frier for the gluten free products) Staff are also very welcoming and aren't afraid of throwing in a few freebies, infact this has happened every time we've been there, whether they're busy or not.
The interior of the shop it's self is a little worn but it seems to give off a classic, corner-store vibe and is a great example of substance over style. There's seating and tables available inside and outside (out the front).
The shop is located in quite a busy part of Westgarth so there's always lots of energy and life around the store however being situated in such a bustling spot, parking can be a little tricky.

You claimed you had no Internet in another Google review reply. I wrote my review on the street, outside the front of your shop. My internet was fine.
Was it a business decision to close the store because the internet was down? Perhaps you thought it wasn't worth opening if Uber Eats was down. I guess you don't care about the street traffic?
Did you bother to put up a sign on your door for the early closure? I looked and didn't find one.

Read morePlease update your working hours. I had placed an order on Monday during lunch time, that I was charged for. Then get a message saying that the delivery cannot be made. I contacted the online support, and he was a very clueless person, telling me that I had to order after 11am from Mon-Friday. I ordered at 1213pm.. I asked if I could pick it up in store and he said no without a valid reason. I then tried calling the store multiple times and no one is picking up.
Edit: The owner has contacted me to explain the reason behind the inability to pick up food on Monday and apologized for the inconvenience. He was very genuine and his mannerisms deserves 5 stars, but I am unable to rate that as the online support service was truly one of the worst experiences I...
