Zaatar Central — Restaurant in Melbourne

Finally an authentic Zaatar hub in the middle of Moonee Ponds. Love this place and its freshly made pastries, it is absolutely amazing. The pastries dough are so delicious, soft and fluffy. And the fillings are another story. I had Zaatar &Cheese, Meat&Cheese, Veggie roll, Spinach&Feta, and Spinach with Sumac are absolutely divine. Especially the Spinach&Sumac (top notch) is my favourite one, I believe it is the best one I have ever had in Melbourne, I highly recommend and you should try it. The atmosphere is very relaxing and comfy. The stuff are amazingly welcoming and friendly. It was my first time and it wont not be the last. And it is 100% Halal. I had lunch with the family here today and we were blown away with the exceptional service and most delicious food we've had in a long time. We ordered a falafel wrap ( which in our opinion was the best we've had) we also tasted the cheese saj, zaatar and meat pizza ( lahem bi 3ajin) and they were equally amazing! The quality of the food was second to none. Aymen (the owner) and his wife were very friendly and welcoming....and most importantly made the food with love!! Can't wait to go back and try the rest...
