KFC Mittagong Food Court — Restaurant in Mittagong

i went to this restaurant to get a quick dinner for me and my siblings, I ordered and got served by a girl with a name tag reading Tiarna, she was frankly rude to me and rolled her eyes when all I wanted to do was add more to my order. after I had ordered and collected my receipt I waited the usual wait for kfc is 5 minutes maximum which is great considering the crew out there are usually alone. as this girl went to bag my order there was another guy standing there already getting everything together his name tag read Craig she then continued to stand there with her head on his shoulder extremely close to him, while all of this was going down there was a poor man waiting to be served. I just wish rather than cuddling your boyfriend at work which by the way is no place to be doing so she would have been doing what she is being paid to do which is serve the customers and prepare the food not only did this take place the food took AND THIS IS NOT AN EXAGGERATION 15 minutes. after this she called my order and I continued to try and be nice as I smiled and said thankyou after all she was providing me with food all she did was look at me while chewing something turned around and continued to rest her head on this boys shoulder. The store is notoriously slow, which I've come to expect butwhen there is a significant issue with your order, customer service goes out the window. I waited 30 minutes just to realise they had "lost my order". Rather than acknowledging the issue was theirs and immediately making the order, they wasted more time (at least 5 to 10 minutes) refusing to make the order, despite being told to by other staff, claiming to be waiting for a manager who only came when I approached them again specifically requesting to speak to the manager. Rather than asking the staff member to now prioritise my order she stood like a deer in the head lights asking me to repeat my order 2 more times. When I expressed how frustrating the experience was watching staff refusing to make my order, she refunded my money and I walked away without food or even an apology after more than 45 minutes. The manager was clearly not trained in customer service and the front line staff were way out of their depth and unsupported when there was an issue. The experience has left me beyond frustrated because I initially was very understanding that the issue was due to a computer glitch, and no one's fault but their approach left me angry and resolute to not return. I then swung by McDonalds and had an order filled in 5 minutes even with a minor mistake...

To put it simple, this is the worst KFC I or anyone else I know have ever gone to... The bacon is only cooked 50% of the time & when it is, its like eating leather. There chips are mostly cold & on occasion come with No seasoning applied... Even when extra seasoning has been requested. The chicken is ALWAYS dry & solid as a brick. The staff always have Zero to no effort in there job, not to mention the manager (the chick that looks like a man) who is nothing but rude, ignorant & stuck up. The staff show no consideration for customers with food allergies or health problems by leaving hurtful messages on there food wrapping as well! I may be within walking distance of the place but I'll drive 20mins into Tahmoor just for KFC if I'm craving it. (Note, they have an actual drive thru unlike Mittagongs "drive thru" ) I advise you only go here unless you're DESPERATE! I always get excited for the new items on there menu & always end up left disappointed after trying it at this location. If you want real KFC with real customer service head to the best KFC which is located behind Campbelltown Mall

Unfortunately your only choice is Maccas as there's no variety available e.g. Red Rooster or Hungry Jack's. But to summarise, KFC Mittagong is the equivalent of Northbound Sutton Forest...
