The lighting reminds you of erstwhile darkrooms where rolls of film got developed but the fantastic interaction I had with the staff lit up the experience for me. Questions about the coffee being served were welcomed and answered with enthusiasm. Often times you find staff at specialty cafés develop an air of haughty snobbery. Not here. I ordered a flat white and asked about the single origin being served. The barista immediately advised me that the flat white would not be a right choice for a milk based beverage. He then brought me a sample of the single origin while I waited for the fw. I asked about the brew method and he patiently informed me that it was batch brewed. Next came the fw, again, served with genuine friendliness. Both types of coffee were in fact really good and I immediately knew I had found a 5* establishment in Perth's specialty coffee scene. Will visit again and really hope to experience consistency in product and service.

I had been suggested to try out Bossman Coffee several times, and finally went after a close friend took me after announcing it was the best cup of coffee she had in 2016. The atmosphere is somber and intimate; with its dim and warm lighting and cozy aesthetics created with the furniture. I ordered a cappuccino and galaktobouriko, which is a custard semolina pastry dish. The cappuccino was beyond fantastic, as I honestly tried my best to slow down so I would not finish it, and soon after finishing the cappuccino, I immediately ordered another one. Many friends of mine did the same after their first visit to Bossman's. The galaktobouriko was perfect, being sweet and moist and well worth the price and serving size. Would highly recommend Bossman, as I am now looking for more friends to try out this coffee because it's just too good, and of course so I can go back for more.

This is the first espresso house I've ever been to that's been recommended as "the best coffee bar none" by a competitor barista (who, himself, belted out a superb espresso). IT HAS TURNED OUT TO BE A NEAR-RELIGIOUS EXPERIENCE. Mind-blowing flat white prepared by the most relaxed and welcoming barista you'll ever meet. The baklava, I'm told, is made by the other barista's elderly Greek neighbour and is like no baklava I've had before - so much flavour. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a relaxed, dimly-lit jazz bar and I could spend many hours chilling in here. I walked/ran 45mins out of my way to try this place. Thank God I did.

Bossman in Perth is a coffee lover’s dream! This place has quickly become one of my go-to spots in the city. The coffee is simply outstanding—every cup is rich, smooth, and full of flavour. You can tell they really care about the quality of their beans and the craft of making the perfect brew.

The atmosphere at Bossman is just as impressive as the coffee. The interior is modern and stylish, yet it has a cosy vibe that makes it a great place to relax or catch up with friends. Whether you’re there for a quick coffee break or to spend a few hours working or reading, it’s always a comfortable and welcoming environment.

The staff at Bossman are fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready with a smile. They’re passionate about coffee and happy to chat or offer recommendations if you’re unsure what to try. It’s clear they take pride in what they do, and it really adds to the overall experience.

If you’re in Perth and love great coffee, Bossman is a must-visit. It’s a place where you can enjoy top-quality coffee, excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere all in one. Highly...

Basing my rating purely on the experience, not the service. Walked in, not knowing exactly what I wanted but hoping to be persuaded by something on their drinks menu. Unfortunately, no such menu was able to be found. When I asked if they had a drink menu, I was told 'we do tea and coffee'. Does this cafe expect the customer to know exactly what the cafe sells and doesn't sell? Do they expect the customer to know exactly what they want before entering? It made me feel like I was inconveniencing the staff as there people waiting in line behind us. This all gave me zero interest in sticking around as we were looking for a place to sit and relax but I guess unless you're a hardcore coffee hipster who wants their usual fix with minimal frills, this place isn't the place to go. We came from the new cafe across the road which also had a complete absence of drinks menu. Maybe cafes today expect customers to be...
