The place was not easy to find. It was located at the Alexander building in Mt Lawley. If you parked you car along the Beaufort street, then you could go through the small throughway next to the Crust pizza and it'd get you there.
We came here on Saturday night for dinner at 7.15pm. As suspected the place was packed. Luckily we only had to wait for 10 mins until seated. We didn't have long to eat as the place was closed at 8pm.
We were seated outside. There were only 1 table available outside as the place was rather small. The table was exactly next to crust pizza's kitchen door. It was left opened and while we were waiting we could feel the heat and pizza smell wafting through the kitchen door. Such a strange and yet comical experience, we were eating sushi but the pizza smell swirling around.
The sushi were mainly all $4 per plate. Except for other food items such as chicken katsu and rice that we ordered. Sushi was fresh and tasted yum. The only complain was the sushi was smaller in size than normal. Service was friendly and...

Yuzu Kaiten Sushi refuses the use of entertainment discount on their $3 sushi train. This is their main attraction, and it is listed in the description for the entertainment card, as well as the main section on their website.
They say the $3 sushi train is a 'special offer', and so that card cannot be used, but it isn't. It's their standard price, and has been for years (I have been a number of times before). Nowhere on the website does it mention it is only a special (including under the specials area), and they also do not mention their exclusion of Entertainment Card use.
There is a small note about not being able to use the card when you reach the till, but nothing to let you know before that. They should be banned from the book.
I tried to discuss it with the manager, but his attitude was 'so sad - too bad'. It always amazes me that for a few dollars a business would rather lose a customer, and have them propagate bad reviews to others, rather than handling the complaint and gaining a...
Read moreThis sushi train is pretty good. All the food was $3 a plate when we went, which is quite cheap compared to other sushi train restaurants. It's a very small place and can get very crowded, so you might want to book if your going. The food is pretty good, but at times can be a bit plain and bland. The katsu chicken was very salty. They had digital menus at each table. They were modern and cool, but a bit slow and laggy. They were also a bit hard to navigate and could be confusing at times. The sushi train food that you ordered was brought to you by the conveyor belt, so you have to make sure you know your table number or you might miss it. The service was quite friendly, but one of the waitresses was a bit ditsy and didn't know what we wanted. The other waitress of alert and very kind. I highly recommend this place for a relaxed sushi train experience, even in a small crowded restaurant. Good place to bring your kids or...
