Great value and good quality food. If you're after a great Thai meal in Mudgee I would recommend this place. I would definitely order from here again. We ordered a Pad Kee Mao and Jungle stir fry. The prices are great - we paid $32 for the 2 dishes (Sept '24). Both dishes were VERY generous with meat, and also vege. The jungle stir fry was amazing and had a nice level of spice. The pad kee mao was also tasty and enjoyable. I was expecting wide noodles but it comes with thin (it does say this on the menu but I hadn't paid close attention) and wasn't as saucy as I had anticipated but we did enjoy it. Food ordered: Chicken Pad Thai, Beef Pad Himmapan, Seafood Tom Yum soup, and mixed satay.

Called ahead to book and the lady was super helpful and squeezed us in for a table that night. We were provided with complimentary prawn crackers before our food came. I was hoping they weren't a sign of things to come, as they were quite bland and uninviting. Without going into too much details I'll just list the pros and cons.

Pros: Friendly service, fireplace, the sauces were decent

Cons: All the meats were dry and chewy, with the beef in the Himmapan slightly better I assume due to the sauce. Tom Yum soup wasn't very sour or spicy, and tasted like they threw frozen seafood into premade stock.

I think if the meat wasn't so tough, the experience would have been a bit easier...

I struggle to give this place 1 star. Reading most reviews we could have struck an off night. BUT. Two young friendly but inexperienced waitresses did their best. We were a group of 4 couples. The entrées turned up in an acceptable time frame but we’re very ordinary. The main dishes had not arrived after one and a half hours. When they did one couple had actually finished theirs Then staggered mains delivered over another15 minutes. Forgot the steamed rice so 4 of us ate without. Then to top it off they delivered fried rice. The last two couples sent it back. We love Mudgee and dining has been great but forget this place and choose another Thai. Probably worst experience...
