The Coffee Burrow — Restaurant in Mudgee

Very disappointing if you want to dine in. All take-away cups, wooden cutlery and food served in cardboard take-away containers. Coffee and food was good. Egg and bacon roll was just thrown together and avocado toast with egg hard to eat with wooden cutlery in a cardboard box. You have to listen out for your name to be called to collect your drinks, then food. Hard to hear in a restaurant full of people, especially if you’re at the back. Came in this Sunday morning (18th Aug) Ordered 2 bacon and Egg rolls, place looked busy which probably explains the 15-20min wait. Disappointed that it is Takeaway only. Ordered a large latte and a large flat white. Coffees tasted burnt and came out cold. I tried to get attention of the 2 young guys out the front (blonde and one had hair slicked back) but was ignored. The food was actually pretty good. Would go back for the food and very day. We stopped in for pancakes and was very disappointed- they are not made fresh ,its basically just premade store bought pancakes warmed up , only for the fact i was starving did i even eat them Plus side -my Chai was lovely Hubby's coffee was made scalding hot ,even though we requested to have it with cold water top up so it wasn't so hot Everything was served in takeaway containers which I'm not a fan of for sitting in -HATE wooden cutlery
