The Parking Lot Cafe — Restaurant in Mudgee

We had our first post regional lockdown dine-in at the Parking Lot Cafe. We could not have picked a better place! It was a quiet Sunday morning. The coffee was perfect, food was amazing, and the ambiance was relaxed and cosy. The plants along the window and the home style furniture made for a beautiful space. The menu offered some much welcomed yummy alternatives to the run-of-the-mill cafe breakfasts.

We didn't feel out of place with our two young kids. Our toddler loved the basket of toys provided, and it wasn't an issue getting a high chair for our youngest. These touches were very welcome and would be helpful to any young family nervous about re-entering the post lockdown scene with kids.

Initially didn't plan to come to this cafe, it was actually our third choice. The first one was closed and the second one had a tiny menu. Anyway, the Parking Lot Cafe had a good range for their breakfast menu. We had the Magic Mushrooms and Chorizo with Red Pepper. The food is flavoursome. They also have other things available such as French Toast, Eggs Benny, Corn Fritters and Banana Pancake. Will return here when we come back to Mudgee. We sat outside, they didn't mind the dogs...

A charming and peaceful little cafe. The food is fresh and tasty with something for everyone. The service is friendly and efficient, very personable wait staff. Would highly recommend.
