The joint is jumping and deserved so. They open early (5.00?) and close early before lunch and it's a well-oiled machine for eat-in and takeaway coffee. I had 2 super long blacks and they were strong but not bitter My marinated portobello mushroom roll with tomato, lettuce and aoli was sensational. I am no vegetarian but I might convert after this Jessie is amazeballs on the front counter. Do yourself a favour perfect coffee and perfect breakfast fare. April 2023 back for brekkie of scrambled eggs with beetroot relish Good but mushroom roll next time Sadly the mushroom stack is no more. Sensational coffee. Feb 2024 back for brunch of BLT. Very good and the long black coffee was sensational yet again

There's nothing not to like about this place! It's a cosy cafe with outdoor seating serving delicious meals and great coffee. It's on the main strip of the town with street parking quite easily found. My friends and I found out they open early from one of their really friendly staff member. It was something like 4.30am till about 12.30 or 1pm. So if you're up early that way, looking for coffee and some food, you know where to go... :)

Did not rate for food as we only had coffee. Bustling cafe, the only one open earlier on the Sunday morning we visited. Picked up a takeaway coffee and strolled the street. There is indoor and outdoor seating but you might have to wait for a table to become available.

Drove from the Gold Coast to have lunch at The Patch Cafe at Mullumbimby with my family. Got there at 12.30pm NSW time and they turned us away saying that the kitchen was closed, although they are supposed to be open until 2pm. Very disappointed with the customer service! Would not recommend! Very rude indeed!

I am responding to your reply in regards to my first review. This is my response.

So first of all, I looked at the time on your website and it said you are open until 2pm. I checked the time after we were turned away and it was exactly 12.42pm NSW time, 11.42pm QLD time. So don’t tell me I got it wrong! And second of all, its very unprofessional and rude for a staff member to make a snide remark saying “we are 4am’s here!” Like you are trying to say get out, we want to go home. That was rude considering you should have been open and trading for another 1 hour and 20mins. Very disappointed in your response, as it sounds like you are trying to say that I’m lying about my experience my family and I had at The Patch Cafe. We won’t be...

I used to love coming here, but after going today, I feel let down. The new menu is overpriced. The girl at the counter was great and even checked with the kitchen if the option I ordered was available. I ordered sourdough bread with my meal and received a gluten-free bun. When I mentioned the mistake, the guy just told me it was gluten-free sourdough (which was clearly not) because he didn't want to change it. And the people next to us got sourdough bread. Very poor customer service and attitude from person serving the dishes. I felt ripped off for what I got. Their coffees are...
