Met with some dear friends for lunch. Only problem was, the only thing that appealed to one of my friends and myself, was unavailable. Probably a good idea to remove it from the menu, or have a notice up somewhere that the dish cannot be served. Thus, my friend only ordered a juice, and my other friend a drink. I ordered the gado gado. It was a decent portion and the flavours were good, but the tofu? It was not to my liking and I actually felt quite unwell later, after my lunch. Now this is a popular cafe, the staff are polite, helpful, friendly. Everything you hope for in Mullumbimby. I've been living here 40 years, and I really love my local cafes. Just wasn't a 5 star experience. Would I go again? To be fair, probably, coz everyone can have an off day and maybe that was mine but the tofu was a bit strange and I eat loads of tofu. Anyhow, it's got a cool atmosphere, staff aim to please. Please give it a go...

Rude, unfriendly waitress. I brought my family here just before Christmas, but will never come back. I watched my Mum ask about coffee sizes then order a hot coffee in a mug. The waitress brought an iced coffee and rudely insisted that she had the order correct. She also put a dairy coffee in front of my vegan sister (luckily not too much of a catastrophe because her partner realised he’d been given her almond milk coffee before she took a sip). But when she tried to double check this with the waitress, the response was hostile. I felt bad that I had suggested this cafe and ruined one of the rare occasions we all get to spend together. I know it’s probably a stressful time in hospitality at the moment, but this really isn’t okay. This seems to be a much loved cafe in the Mullum community, but I can’t see why when the staff behave...

Please don't go there!!!!!!! They don't know what is customer service. The treat you badly rude!! if you ask for your order after being waiting more that 50 m. They even don't have the intelligence to check if you order is on the waiting list. Then, at the time you have enough of waiting and rudeness ,.....you decided to leave and pay for the coffees that is the only you received . Guesss what ???The dock shown a green juice that you never received and the main meal that you was waiting asked for 3 times wasn't on the dock.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DAM ! And then, despite I requested not be charged for a green juice that We never received I got charged !!!!!! and be treated so RUDE!!! What kind of customer service is that?? Terrible!!!
