This place is very good at what it does. It is not a 5 star establishment, so I cannot give it a 5 star review. But I can say that you are getting honest Vietnamese food which is freshly prepared and very tasty. I went in for the Pho, Beef Noodle Soup, as it has been ages since I was last in Vietnam and able to get Pho. This is good, very authentic. The beef was thinly sliced and tender. The broth tasty and plenty of condiments to spice it up. The broth did have a strong, fresh, aromatic herb in it, I am familiar with it but cannot place the name. Fine by me but I suspect that some palates may be put off by it. (No it isn't coriander). I would have liked a little bit more fresh vegetable to put in the soup (like in vietnam). My partner had the BBQ Pork and rice. A very good choice, tender pork with a nice flavour. All servings were generous in size. We also had spring rolls that were obviously freshly prepared. For 2 of us it was a good sized meal for a little over $40. Serving staff very friendly. You can see the food being prepared, no secrets here. The Bahn Mee looked very good, I will come back another day for those. Vietnamese customers in the small dining room - that speaks volumes about authenticity. Do yourself a flavour and sample some genuine Vietnamese cooking...
Read moreI recently ordered takeaways from this restaurant and I have to say, I was really impressed! The pho was absolutely delicious - the flavors were bold and well-balanced, and the broth was perfectly cooked. The bahn mi was also really nice and fresh, with great ingredients and a nice, crunchy baguette.
The service was excellent - the staff were very friendly and helpful, and they made sure our food was ready to go when we arrived. The only downside was that it was a bit of a pain to find a parking spot during busy lunchtime, but that's a small price to pay for such great food! Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for delicious...
Read moreWhile visiting Murray Bridge we stopped for lunch at Pho 70. I had “rice with pork chop and roast pork” and really enjoyed it, particularly the steamed rice and roast pork, they’re the best I’ve tasted! My husband and son had pho and enjoyed it too! We enjoyed the friendly chat with the young lady owner who was quite hospitable. The other two ladies were nice too! There were a few hungry flies that kept diving into our food so we had to wave hands constantly to keep them away. All in all, we really enjoyed our lunch there and will revisit on our next trip to Murray Bridge. 5 stars from...
