Zambrero — Restaurant in Murray Bridge

I have been a customer of zambreros since opening in murray bridge and have loved the vegan options available and usually friendly and helpful staff but on 2 occasions recently both my husband and I have been spoken to rudely by staff and had our order messed up, once by who I would assume is the manager/a manager. Our most recent visit tonight we didn't receive a bag of corn chips we had asked for and paid for and had unwanted ingredients put on our food when we had asked for them without. My husband also had the food basically thrown at him out the drive through window. There have also been quite a few occasions where the food hasn't been very fresh either and tastes quite bad. Asked for my burrito cut in half, wasn't done, waited 15 mins in drive through, burrito was very averagely put together. I felt like the ingredients were a little less freah than desired. Taste was good and service was polite enough, but it definitely wasn't a memorable experience for any positive compared to other resteraunts visited.

As for the response - I wouldnt think asking for it to be cut in half would be conistered a special instruction regarding food in a hospitality setting.. Also, it wasn't such a busy time at all, there was two cars.. if it was busy, I wouldn't have removed a star from my experience for the wait time.. perhaps customer service could've lost a star given the passive-aggressive reply to genuine review of an...

Normally enjoy zambys, but this was sadly the worst experience I've had. Only 2 staff on - one stressed manager and 1 staff under training. Only three of us in the store and we weren't even acknowledged for 10 minutes while waiting to order. Overall took 20 mins for 3 burritos. Manager was madly taking drive through orders while trying to train new girl, no fault of their own, just understaffed and inexperienced. When we were finally served, the new girl made the most underfilled and sad burritos we've ever had. I felt for her, but its beyond frustrating when you're on a roadtrip, hungry and paying full price.
