Good Time Charlie's — Restaurant in Nambucca Heads

Came here on the way back from Brisbane, it was early in the morning on a rainy day. We were looking forward to the food and coffee as the reviews and pictures looked amazing. Noticed that the menu online is not the same as the menu at the cafe. Got a burnt bagel with burnt bacon with way too much mayo it was uneatable and left it on the plate. The coffee was amazing and quick. There is no toilet either, and when I asked where is the nearest, the staff pointed me to the library at the end of the road but forgot to mention the toilets are behind iron fence and don't open until 9am. I have visited this place twice now and both times I have gotten a "thickshake" according to them. 1st time pulled them up on it and they corrected the milkshake to a thickshake as per what I paid for. This time however when I pulled them up on it again they simply told me that it was a thickshake, despite the fact that we also had a milkshake in our group and it was the same consistency as my "thickshake". I decided to walk away as the servers attitude thus far was clearly not going to rectify their mistake. Excellent coffee and prepared to perfection! 5/5 Bad experience with the food. Order was wrong, and made us pay for replacement food. Didn’t offer us the food we paid for. Then replacement breakfast was missing the caramelised onion in the mushroom toaster. which was on the menu Owner was confronting and eager to blame. We were also overcharged for some coffees, $5.50 instead of $4.70, for a large flat white. If you want a great coffee this is the place. Poor customer experience...
