We were in this restaurant early this year and I would say that the service and the food were good. I wouldn’t go that far by calling the food great or excellent. I have tasted real Thai food in Thailand and real thai food that catered for Asian taste in Sydney. What really upset me was we went back tonight to have the Thai food as we were in Nambucca Heads, the waiter was great. She sat us down and set the table up. We started to order foods at 6:38 pm and by the time of 7:26, we were wondering with what’s happening with the food we ordered. I went to the counter and asked the waiter. The owner came out and said and I quote, “let me check in the kitchen” and she came back to us saying it would be another 5-10 minutes as she said they are quite busy. She could have informed us earlier if it’s going to be over an hour for food. I also saw the 2 tables after us got their food. It really upset me as this restaurant has no routine. We decided to walk out followed by another well dressed couple. They were really upset seeing how we had been treated.

We also saw another table (a family with 2 young boys) before we left. They had been waiting for over an hour before us. The funny part was the waiter brought them a bowl of rice and it had been sitting on the table without any dishes for over 15 minutes. The father stood up and went to the counter and asked what happened and as I overheard they told the father that they had a lot of takeaway orders. He went back and his wife was screaming saying if I knew it’s going to be over an hour for food, I would have ordered takeaway instead as in house customers were treated second best.

I used to work in the restaurant so I would say treat the in-house customers first as they make effort to come in and dine and experience the food and service. Obviously this restaurant knows nothing about ethiquette, courtesy and manner (to the owner only). Waiters were great. Thank you.

If I could take out 1 star from google map, I would. Worst experience ever. NEVER go back...

I'm not quite sure how they've earned the right to call themselves a Thai restaurant but we just had the worst pad thai and pad see ew of our lives. The worst part was probably how the pad thai actually tasted like ketchup (no tomato in the pad thai recipe). They also used the same rice tagliatelle for both dishes (one is supposed to be thin noodles and the other very thick ones). So, one advice: only go if you've never had Thai food before and have no idea what it's actually supposed to taste like. On a last note: we ordered take away on the phone and were told it would be ready in 40 minutes (quite the wait already) but when we got there we were told it was going to be another 15 minutes, only go if you like waiting for your food outside...

I had a reservation for 4 ppl tonight. I was dining with my husband, friends Emily & Shanan , so glad I chose to elhsve Thai tonight try something different in Nambucca Heads & wow… sensational. $132 for 2 x entrees & 4 main meals & a beef fried rice was so well worth the money. I’ll return with my daughter & son next weekend the foods amazing. Clean restaurant & staff were amazing very good service all round with kitchen staff & on the floor. Cooks … Absolutely amazing!! Good work, this Thai restaurant in Nambucca heads is a demonstration of what all restaurants should be like.
