If you're looking for the perfect blend of culinary excellence, breathtaking scenery, and romantic charm, look no further. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning breathtaking views — the kind that make you want to linger over your coffee or cocktail just a little longer.
The atmosphere was intimate and inviting, with soft lighting and beautiful décor that made it feel both special and relaxing. Whether you're after a romantic dinner for two or a memorable meal with close friends, this place sets the tone beautifully.
The menu was a delight, with every dish showing care and craftsmanship. The garlic prawns were truly superb — perfectly cooked, rich in flavour, and beautifully presented. The ravioli, delicate yet hearty, melted in the mouth and paired wonderfully with selections from their expansive collection of Italian wines. It’s clear the owners have a deep appreciation for Italian cuisine with staff who are just as friendly and helpful. Their recommendations were spot-on, adding even more enjoyment to our experience.
A heartfelt thank you to the owners, who not only know their food and wine but also make you feel genuinely welcome. Their passion is evident in every detail.

Read moreLovely venue, service staff and owner wonderful. Booked in for 7pm. Arrived a little early and were seated straight away. Ordered our drinks and then our meals. Drinks came promptly and that is where our night went downhill. We waited and waited for our food.8.26pm and Giovanni came over to see how we were going and said we were still waiting. He apologised and went to Kitchen to find out. He brought out bread and small ham and olive plate. Obviously they had lost our order. Then my meal arrived and no one else had a meal. Took mine back to kitchen. 9.05 our meals arrived. Looked lovely. First mouth fall and my meatballs were cold. Asked for them to be reheated. My friends beef cheeks were tasty, till she found a piece of hard plastic in her meal! Then my other girlfriend started to eat her fish which came in a paper bag. The fish was raw in the middle. We called over the other head waiter who apologised and took the piece of plastic and the raw fish back to the kitchen. He brought a round of lemon cello and two deserts to share. Took fish of the bill but no other compensation for the delay or poor quality of the food. The staff did their best but were let down by the kitchen staff. I don’t think we would go back again. Expensive meal for a...

Our recent dinner at Sirena Seaside was truly memorable. When I called to make our reservation and from the moment when we walked in...we were welcomed. The restaurant strikes a perfect balance between being casual and elegant with an excellent harbour view. Being right on the waterfront at d'Albora Marina, we were treated to a magnificent, panoramic view of the water as the sun went down, pure magic.
The food was just as impressive as the setting. We indulged in a selection of authentic Italian share plates, and every single bite was a delight—so fresh, full of flavour and care. It felt like a true taste of Italy, right in Nelson Bay. Plenty of options for the little ones and children as well. Great family dining option.
The combination of the stunning views, the beautiful and relaxed atmosphere, and the exquisite food made for an uplifting and truly memorable evening. We left feeling so fulfilled and relaxed. We recommend Sirena Seaside for a special night out. Save room for dessert.
Thank you Veronica and John for inviting us into your restaurant and lives, best wishes until we see you again...stay...
