Blu-J's Cafe Toukley — Restaurant in New South Wales

My partner and I ordered breakfast to go, 2 bacon and egg rolls and 2 coffees. I give full marks because the food was a very generous portion for an affordable price and tasted how it was supposed to - fantastic. And I remember remarking on how good the coffee was (the coffee wasn’t burnt like many places as a result of not cleaning the barista). We are not locals, we saw this place pop up on social media and it got rave reviews, but the can be a little biased. So my wife and I stopped in for lunch. We were greeted by 2 lovely girls who we’re very welcoming. I had an open steak sandwich on Turkish bread my wife had a good old fashioned hamburger. My wife is ultra fussy. Often go for lunch and always been good service and value , but on the 10/11/24 very disappointing and poor value and service. After ordering 2 steak sandwiches on Turkish bread , one with no bacon , received one on Turkish bread and one on toast , after query to staff the answer was they both have steak on them so they are the same , and both with no bacon . Disappointed as we enjoyed going to the cafe often, but after that recent experience would have to say won’t be back for...
