Recently had dinner, at hearts and Minds, 2 x orders were placed for dinner, and 1 x orange juice ordered, what we received was 2 x orange juices, one of the dinners came out twice which wasn't what was ordered, then when we told them that wasn't what was ordered, they fobbed it off and said they had run out of Guinness Pie, there was no offer about would we like to order something else, 1 hr later no sign of 2nd dinner, until I confronted bar staff about it, no apology or offer of complimentary discount. To top things off, when paying the bill, we were charged for a dinner that we didn't order to no fault of our own, which 1st dinner cost was $8, dinner we received was $24, BIG DIFFERENCE, if we knew that we certainly wouldn't have accepted that dinner. No explanation of price difference was mentioned either, and we assumed we wouldn't be paying extra, BIG MISTAKE that was. Good custom would have been charge at no extra cost, especially waiting for 1 hr for the second dinner. This is why they tab your account so you cant keep check of what's been added to account until end of night you get bill shock. The place was a sweat box, people asked for Air con on, we were told it was on 18 degrees, mind you doors wide open on a humid night. Doors need to be closed to contain Air Con cold air, of course your not going to feel it, with heat pushing through. Really...

So, made the mistake of ordering chicken wings as an entree. No, the wings were awesome - the mistake was not reading that it was a share plate! 5 huge tasty wings, I was struggling through the fifth when it dawned on me I was meant to have shared! I had the chicken curry and it was pretty good. The beef cheeks I think were the meal to have - they looked delicious!

Dessert was the cheesecake - it was a deconstructed assembly, probably needed a little better description - maybe a photo?

Cocktails: boy were those boys behind the bar busy or what?

Have had my haircut here the past 2 times. Really enjoyed the vibe - really enjoyed the cut. The staff in the Barber are all super friendly and it’s nice to see the comradery between the owners and the staff alike.

As for the cocktail bar - finally got around to heading there on Friday night. The tapas style sharing plates we ordered were freakishly good! We also ordered a bunch of different cocktails that were equally as amazing as the food.

Loved our waiter - he brought great banter to our table and aided our already enjoyable night.

I’m not going to say that I didn’t expect this, but what I will say is TOUKLEY LIVES!!
