Update: Restaurant called to apologise and offered remediation. Eventually took up their offer and re-ordered below items. Pad Thai seemed to be cooked well this time with correct ingredients, salt & pepper Squid remained fairly similar. Changed rating to 4 stars as restaurant was friendly and eager to resolve quality issues. Pad Thai is bland, noodles overcooked, mushy and un-seared. Salt/Pepper squid is tough, batter is firm and chewy with very little seasoning. To top it all off, ordered Duck for the Pad Thai, received Chicken while still charging me the extra $4 for Duck. If you've ever had genuinely good Thai food in your life, avoid this place as you will be disappointed. Two stars as the delivery driver was pleasant and friendly.

This restaurant in Toukley is in the heart of the town and is a hidden treasure. The food is excellent, if not a little on the sweet side. There is a tendency for Thai restaurants in Australia to cater for local tastes by adding sugar to their spicy dishes and this restaurant is no exception. Having said that the food still gets 5 stars from me as the chilli jam dish and massaman curry were exceptional. Atmosphere is sparse with some very old music playing in the background, think we even heard the “Days of our lives” theme. However I found this an attractive quirk. Don’t be put off by the bright 70’s orange decor, give this place a go and enjoy lovely dishes large enough to share!

Love this place so much that I can't recommend it enough!! Went there for lunch with my mum and sister.. if i could.. i would have ordered the whole menu. Me being half Asian, I do have a taste bud for great asian food, and this place showed just that. Staff who was serving us was very friendly and very quick to serve us. We hardly even had to motion her to our table because she was keeping an eye on our movements🤣 Food was 10/10 and quick to be served also. I had 3 dishes for myself and I also tasted my family's dishes and they were delish too. Can't wait to go back there and try something different!

Love this place so much that I can't recommend it enough!! Went there for lunch with my mum and sister.. if i could.. i would have ordered the whole menu. Me being half Asian, I do have a taste bud for great asian food, and this place showed just that. Staff who was serving us was very friendly and very quick to serve us. Best ever Thai food on the entire Central Coast! Second place I would award to Toronthai at Toronto .. north of Central Coast .. and 3rd place to Charming Thai at Charmhaven, although Charming Thai still wins hands down for their peanut satay chicken skewers! Great food, always fresh and a large selection. My absolute favourite is Cashew Chilli Jam with crispy pork belly and fried rice, Fantastic desserts (sticky black rice with egg custard is my favourite of all time!).
