Brooklyn's Burger Bar Espresso Park Beach Plaza — Restaurant in New South Wales

Where to start... When we arrived the place was less than 50% full yet all the free tables were filthy. When we asked asked a staff member if she could wipe it down, she begrudgingly said yes and then proceeded to do other stuff. When we asked the second staff member to wipe it down she did so immediately. Only problem was, no one had ever shown her how to wipe a table down and she left it no cleaner than when she started. While waiting a fair while for 2 pulled pork burgers, we had time to look around the restuarant and watch the staff. Apparently at Brooklyn's Burger Bar it is ok to wipe down tables with a dirty cloth then handle plates of customer's food. At least sometimes her hands were wiped on her clothes before handling the food. Staff walk past dirty tables and appear to think clearing them is below them. Our food sat on the pass for a while and I would suggest it wasn't at safe food handling temperatures when it arrived. The ceiling fans above the tables look like they've never been cleaned. Staff in a customer centric role should probably actually like doing customer service. The only time I saw them smile was when they were chatting amongst themselves. Brooklyn’s Burger Bar Espresso is easily one of the best dining experiences I have had this year. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with genuine smiles and warm hospitality. The staff were outstanding, friendly, kind and attentive without being overbearing. Their welcoming nature instantly made me feel comfortable and valued as a customer.

I ordered the Ultimate Aussie Burger and it truly lived up to its name. Every bite was bursting with flavour, perfectly balanced between juicy, well cooked meat and fresh crisp toppings. The combination of ingredients was spot on, from the smoky bacon and melted cheese to the tangy beetroot and crisp lettuce. The bun was soft yet sturdy enough to hold everything together, making the burger easy to enjoy without falling apart.

What impressed me most was how every element felt fresh and carefully prepared, not rushed or generic. It is clear that Brooklyn’s Burger Bar Espresso takes pride in delivering quality food and service.

This was without doubt the best burger I have had all year and it has left me eager to return. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a delicious meal paired with outstanding service. I will definitely be visiting again...

Stopped in on the way through Coffs Harbour for a meal and a break- Sunday 24/9/23 around 1:30pm- ordering was easy enough and a great selection but the positivity stopped there. The young wait staff knocked something over on all 4 occasions she delivered to our table, placing the food or drinks on our table could have been considered ‘dumping it’ down. Burgers slid off plates- milkshake tipped over. No sorry or offer to clean up, just a cringe smile and walked away. Seagulls ravage food as soon as people leave their left overs- staff walk past as laugh without clearing it in timely manner. I then had my 3 year old vomit up his strawberry milkshake (only drank a quarter) with in 10 mins of our meal.. may be been put down to a stomach bug or sorts if my 30 year old sister didn’t do the same from her chocolate milkshake 20mins later. Apparently the milk was barely cold when consuming! The next 5 hours of travel was plagued due to our stop over here. Food was alright but nothing to balance out illness from off warm milkshakes.
