Went through drive through...very slow but we were patient. Ordered a 2 piece feed with no drumsticks and a zinger burger combo. Got to the window and checked they understood no drumsticks, they confirmed. Got to the next window and again, asked that there were no drumsticks, the guy looked blankly at me so I checked the order myselfand low and behold there was a drumstick! Gave it back and asked to have the food I ordered. The girl he gave it too made a comment that I won't repeat on here. Yes your customers can hear you! They handed my order back although this time I didn't feel the need to check it again as one would assume they could get it right on the second go. Got home and they had taken the zinger burger out that was there in the first place!!!! So my daughter ended up with no burger for lunch. Seriously....how many times can you stuff up one order. Called the store to tell them and the manager who I won't mention her name but will advise head office, just said I'll send you a voucher for next time you come in....like this happens all the time. No concern that my daughter had no lunch. It's really not that hard to provide good customer service and read the orders off the screen. As for the manager, i can see why those poor young kids make mistakes and don't know how to deal with customers. Heads up kids....don't swear and make degrogery comments about your customers especially when they...
Read morethe boys are hungry. the night is young. we’re out of town looking for a feed. what better than your friendly neighbourhood KFC? surely, all will be perfect. Ahhh, but that’s where the issue lies. Cessnock KFC is an above average establishment. Upon arrival, the parking lot is empty - a promising sign. However as we turned the corner, the line was a modest 6 cars long, suggestive of understaffing or slow service. We were greeted by a friendly female voice over the intercom. However, as we departed for the pickup area, it dawned upon us that she made the mistake of forgetting to inquire about our beverage selection. As we went to pick up our food and refreshments, we faced a brief moment of confusion as the server (Heath) did not open his window or provide any instructions as to how to proceed. Eventually, after some waiting and disjointed communication, he was able to usher us forward to receive and pay for our meal. At the final station, we eventually got our meal and were on our way. The chicken was crispy and full of moisture only when it came to the wings. However, the chicken within the burger was soggy and raised some concerns when the flesh was pink. The beverages were cold and refreshing and the chips were well seasoned and retained some crisp and a marginal degree of heat.
Tldr, long queue, okay service,...
Read moreI’ve lived just out of town now for 4 years. Takes me 15 mins to get to this KFC, and because of the horrible exit out of drive through and the long line ups, you never get a chance to check your order. EVERY single time I have to drive through Maccas, turn around and come back then turn around at the roundabout to get back to this store because EVERY time my order is wrong. I order the exact same thing every time and it’s always packed wrong. I always ask for gravy instead of p&g and I only ever get p&g. This happens without fail everytime. My first job was KFC, it’s really not that stressful or difficult to read an order correctly and pack it correctly. I don’t know if it’s sheer laziness but with the lack of takeaway and me being a chef and not getting a chance to cook at home, I don’t get much choice when it comes to dinner, and I don’t wanna cook. Hopefully with this new store opening, you guys either hire better staff or retrain the current ones you have because at this rate you’re gonna lose a lot of customers or have staff abused because orders aren’t being done right. The food is great it’s just laziness and forgetfulness that’s...
