We used Crust Willoughby for years and they were great. We moved to Saratoga and only 2 pizza companies delivered there. We chose Crust cause they were great so far. Unfortunately the East Gosford franchise is really bad but we had to option if we didn't want to drive.
We coped with several missing items, several time the pizzas were burnt and the wrong pizza.
They were giving store credit only for the missed items but not for the burnt pizzas.
But last night was too outrageous... Last week we ordered online. One pizza was wrong. Apparently they received a different order on their end...ok .. technical issues, not their fault. They offered store credit.
We called last night to redeem it. Very long wait to get the pizzas and we received only 2 from the 3 pizzas we ordered and they also were wrong. After calling the store and discussing for s long time they finally took them back and did again the order. We were so upset as we told them about the many issues that's been consistently happening.... They ended up saying that they'll resend the order at no charge.
Well, the delivery guy arrives and he asks us to pay. Told them they offered at no charge....but they didn't tell him. I told the poor guy (poor thing was left caught in the middle) to call the store.
Well they asked him to charge us $30 (he was so distraught that I calmed him down as it wasn't his fault and not to worry we'll pay so he's not in trouble).
Mind you, we ordered one Extra Large of the 3 and they sent a Large. So the order wasn't still wrong, they lied about not charging (I double checked the conversation in our security cameras as I thought I was crazy at this point imagining things 😂🤣).
So stay away from this store if you want to enjoy a relaxing unburnt pizza night and keep...
Read moreAfter spending $1000 on pizza at this store since Crust opened I feel I'm very qualified to write a review. When it first opened there was buy one get one free for quite some time which was a bargain for pickup orders. Even free delivery for 1 pizza was great as it always arrived fresh and HOT and was consistent.
Im guessing the numbers looked great and it was sold off and someone bought it and he is having trouble keeping up the reputation and wondering why his sales arnt matching up with the ones when saw before he bought it. Because its struggling to make those financial figures id say the business owner is not so motivated and from the other reviews I have read, doesn't really care to fix and make it right.
I can tell you why. The consistency isn't there. On delivery sometimes its hot, sometimes it luke warm. Sometimes it taste correctly, sometimes there's something missing, like BBQ sauce on a BBQ chicken.
Sometimes it arrives within 60 mins (8 min drive away) sometimes it takes 2 hours.
On top of that the delivery min order is now $25, so half the menu is not buy able for delivery now, especially my favourite friday night BBQ chicken special.
Tonight will probably be my last friday night pizza from Crust unless they are willing to guarantee and fix all the above problems. My name is on this review and you can find me in your customer database if you want to make things write, you know how to contact me.

Read moreHaven’t been to Crust at east Gosford since the one opened up in Terrigal which is closer to us, however on Saturday we were going past so we ordered pick-up over the phone.
When we arrived just after the scheduled pick-up time the pizzas were not ready, which was fine, but then to have one of the staff first tell us it was because they said that we would have to order online when we got there to use our coupon code as they can only be excepted online and not over the phone or In-Store, we knew this but the app was not working when we first tried to place our order hens why we called and was a bummer that we couldn't use the coupon but we were not worried. Yes, you could call this miss understanding, but not when a staff member confirmed and repeated the order back to me including the pickup time.
We not only ordered 30minutes in advance but waited an additional 30minutes in store, after not being told the truth when we first arrived to pick up our order. Initially, we were told that the pizzas were ready and only had to be put in the oven, this was not the case, they had not even been made.
After all of this, not even an apology was given, we were just offered a couple of cokes that we do not drink as the only offer for compensation. Better yet... we found the pizzas to be not what we ordered when we got home, I guess you could say we should have check first in-store but after all of that, we just wanted...
