East Thai Restaurant — Restaurant in New South Wales

East Thai is a gem in Gosford! I've eaten Thai food in many restaurants around Sydney and Asia, but hands down this is one of the best. The quality control is amazing as the chef is the owner and he always cooks with passion. I've included photos of all the different dishes I've tried in my 3 visits, they are all amazing.

If you like hot and spicy food - pad kee mao, tom yum and any of the curries. Kids friendly non spicy food - pad Thai, pad see ew and Thai fried rice. Special - Nasi Goreng Malaysian style and Choo chee. The Choo chee salmon is to die for! You have to try it!

The staffs are warm and friendly. They make the customers feel so comfortable and appreciated. The chef always comes out to greet the customers and ask for feedback. They are also very caring as there was once when my son had a splinter on his finger, and the lady boss tried her best to look for ways to help him. It's gesture like this that distinguishes them for great hospitality.

I thought to write this review as to tell people and owner how good they are compared to to others in the area. I often get chicken fried rice for my kids from here and they love it. The difference between them and other restaurants in Wyoming, North Gosford and West Gosford are firstly other restaurants are so much more expensive for this dish I order and secondly no fresh vegetables like this East Thai does and thirdly other restaurants fried rice goes plasticy the next day if we want to use as left over the next day.East Thai use fresh big chunks of veggies, better chicken and rice stay as fresh as next day after heating up. Have been coming here since I moved to East Gosford a year and a half ago, and usually have the Pad Kee Mao or the red curry with pork belly. Today, decided to request for something off menu, the salmon with red curry and WOW! One of the best things I have put in my mouth. Salmon is fried to perfection and the red curry poured on top is amazingly delicious. In my opinion, since I love fish and curry, one of the best combinations ever.

Never once have I had bad food here, everything has always been delicious; the Thai fried rice is bursting with the delicious wok heat flavor. My wife is a cult follower of the Pad Kee Mao with pork belly.
